- It’s run down, especially for how much they charge. Floors, walls, carpets etc seem poorly maintained. Prices for food and drinks can be astronomical and I found the quality quite mediocre. I got charged $91 usd for an omelette (I did add three egg whites, but still) and it was dry and sad; they did remove it from the bill when I complained.

The lighting system was a pain... too complicated and individual lights couldn't be turned on and off.

It's peaceful solitude. It's a gorgeous LA hideaway. The spa was amazing, especially my masseuse and esthetician, Tracy. I am thinking of returning to the hotel just to see her again! (I live locally.)
It's very, very pricey, but you would do well to book through Priceline where I saved a lot off the hotel's posted rates. (*Savings* fromxxx a night, depending on the night.)
