Pros +
- Fireplace
- Our room was very clean and comfortable. It had the feel of a cute beach cottage. Property is very close to beach, super friendly staff, easy check in/out. Shower head was a handheld (why don't all hotels have these?!), pressure was fantastic and the shower height seemed higher than standard, so yay for the tall folks =D. All shower essentials were provided. Plenty of counter space. Coffee maker, coffee, tea and sweeteners were in a little "kitchen" area where there was a table for 2, a microwave, refrigerator and sink. It appeared that there were a couple of plates in the cabinet too.The fireplace worked wonderfully to take the chill off the air, although we did have to ask for matches - fair enough. The sitting area in front of the fireplace was cozy and cute. We had a small semi-private patio area out back as well. During the day, the windows let in a decent amount of light. We had to leave before we could try the breakfast, so no comment on that.
- Excellent experience good food and staff !!
Cons -
- Bottom room no view. Ask for a balcony of the street
- It seemed as though the ADA grab bars in the bathroom doubled as towel racks, which didn't seem appropriate or convenient, as they weren't near to the shower and were lower to the floor. A hook or two in the bathroom would have been nice as well. The lighting in the bathroom was dim. They charge $20 or $22 to park in the garage, which I've never had to do at a hotel, parking has always been included. Street parking was available, however, there are time and day limits. No fault of the hotel, but the noise from other guests was quite loud in our room. Upstairs, in the walkways, we could hear moving about. Also noticeable was plumbing/water sounds in the walls. Not godawful, but did wake me up a couple times. One of the switches on one of the lamps was broken, but because there were so many other lighting options, it didn't matter.
- My wife and I having more time there.

The room was nice and good size for 4 people. And the fireplace was a nice touch especially in the winter time when we went. The location of the hotel is very good, walkable to both Old Fisherman's wharf and Cannery row.
1. The hotel does not offer free parking spots. I know that hotel prices in these California beach areas are always high, but it should at least include a parking spot, especially if we are staying for multiple days.2. The receptionist lady was the most unhelpful person ever. She did not know where the breakfast in the hotel is served, but still gave wrong directions to us, making us walk in the rain 2-3 times! On another day, we asked about the jacuzzi and she didn't even know where it was! Most useless hospitality service I've ever seen! 3. The jacuzzi, which was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel, was not working the entire time we were staying here. It was utterly disappointing! 4. Basic things like extra toilet paper or towels were not given in the 3 days we stayed.5. There was no way to contact the reception or housing facility to ask for anything. The telephone in the room is useless!
