Dorint Charlottenhof Halle (Saale)

An enjoyable stay. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the reception staff were very kind and helpful; particularly the gentleman on night duty who made us hot chocolates when we arrived in the small hours of the morning, due to a flight delay. The Dorint is the best placed hotel in Halle, if you want to be near the station. A quiet hotel in a quiet area, but stepping distance from cafes and restaurants, etc. Nice restaurant, and good breakfast. Our twin room was very large, with a little balcony. As far as hotels in Halle go, the bar is low. The Dorint is the best of them all.

Somewhat dated in places. Attitude of breakfast staff was poor verging on rude, which was a pity, given that the reception staff were so brilliant for our entire stay. 'Vital Club' shouldn't be advertised - it is beyond disappointing.

No comfort!

Terrible. You can offer all kind of facilities but when the basics are not good....Temperature in the room 25 degrees+, like a sauna. Even with small window open or climate change on, it did not get cooler. I heard more quests complaining.Pillows also terrible, like sleeping without pillow, discomfortable pillows.

Service was exceptional, they went out of their way to help me. The room was nice, and WiFi was very fast, enough to upload RAW photos and join Zoom calls.

Buffet had no vegetarian entrees, twin beds were on wheels and wouldn’t stay together as a double, they advertised a sauna and steam room when we booked the hotel but it is closed for the summer. Yet they still charge the same price for the room.

The property is ok, clean and well located. The staff was friendly and they also welcomed us a bit earlier than expected.

A bit over-priced in our opinion and the check-in ours are a bit odd.

The staff at the front desk was suberb making my stay pleasant. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. I will defintely book a room in this hotel next time I visit Halle.

The breakfast was very good. The arrangement of food was good also the arrangement of the tables.The room was not to small.The location was in near the center of the city.

There was a modest selection of items for breakfast. There was no coffee or tea in the room.

The restaurant is good and they have room service offer 3 meals as well.Waiters are pretty nice and welcoming.
