The beds are so comfy that we slept so well in preparation for our long flight home. The restaurant and meals are delicious. The lovely service is excellent in comfortable settings.
The fact that I could not use my Oz money card to pay for my room . Simply because my name wasn't detailed on it .

Perfect location for travelers or if you come to pick up someone from the airport. Clean rooms and comfortable beds
The only thing was the long waiting time for check-in. Waited for over 30 minutes

Great location and really good facilities.
Charging a resort fee for what is basically only a hotel. Also it took a while to be able to check in. The desk agent assumed she couldn’t find my booking because I booked it too recently. After waiting 15 minutes I approached the desk again. It turned out a slight difference in the way the last name came across was to blame.

The hotel was nice and comfortable and newly renovated.
The check-in staff and the shuttle driver weren’t very friendly or helpful. The shuttle driver expected my daughter to load our luggage into the van without helping her! And he seemed generally disinterested in his job. He even tried to discourage us from taking the shuttle by telling us that there were “many” Sonestas at the airport and that we might be staying at a different one. Even though the name matched the name on our booking. And then when I told him into was the newly renovated hotel, he acted surprised and said that it had been renovated more than 3 years ago!The check in lady told me I had only booked for one night even though I had clearly booked for 2, and told me that I would have to take it up with Booking.com. When she checked again she admitted she had made a mistake. But if I hadn’t insisted she would have charged me for a second night.

check in was a nightmare. completely unacceptable. also received an email for an upgrade to our room AFTER we checked in.

The location is great
I stayed in floor 15 and the noise of the water pipes were so loud. They were all day long and also woke us up at night.

Great location! Shuttle to and from the airport was great! Lobby entrance was decorated and designed very well! Nice decor ! Very friendly staff! No wait at check in. Room was so comfortable, quiet and nicely decorated. Only minutes to LAX. Great price compared to hotels in the area!
Resort fee was not good …no pool or jacuzzi we had hoped for to enjoy after traveling all day.
