Room was nice and clean. Staff very friendly. Stay was for visit to UCLA Medical. Very close. Not walking close but close.
They could have stated there would be a $40 per night parking fee. Also that the free breakfast that was included came with a $5 service charge.

location, very close to UCLA. Included breakfast is great. room is spacious and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. our room service was fast and good.Check in process is quick and efficient
Parking fee is really expensive : $40 A DAY. no options for self-parking or or info in advance.halls are a little narrow, but nothing serious unless you are carrying big items.

when i read the reviews it felt that this may not be the right hotel for us as a family, but when we reached it was a very good choice, the rooms were big, the location is safe and close to everything we were 20mn away drive from every single location we planned to visit, the breakfast was great and the dinning with the view was a cherry on top
nothing, even the fact that some reviews mentioned it might noisy as it is close to the highway we didn't feel it

Room and bathroom were very clean and in good condition. Unusual cylindrical shape of the hotel affects the layout of every room in interesting ways. Breakfast includes an omelette station, and has great views from the 17th floor. Valet parking was quick to retrieve my car.
Check-in was disorganized the day I got there; they were having a hard time with room assignments, but the delay was no more than 10 minutes. Be aware that the hotel is *right next* to the 405 freeway, and rooms facing the freeway can be quite loud, but I found it a very good white noise generator for sound sleep.

It is a wonderful, slightly quirky hotel with helpful staff.
The price per night varied from $199 to over $500 due to UCLA commencement traffic. I would have expected this to have been made clear by booking.com before I booked.

Rooms are super noisy and you cannot sleep due to the noise of cars on freeway all night .

The location is wonderful
The nois at night from the highway was very annoying we could not sleep half night till we moved to a quiet room not facing the highway

Comfortable and roomy guest rooms. Excellent restaurant and coffee shop. Warm and helpful staff. Great location and value.
