Please note that it is a legal requirement to carry wheel chains on the road up to Falls Creek in winter. If needed, these can be hired at several locations in Mount Beauty. Please note that in winter there is a resort entry fee of AUD $40-50 per night, per vehicle depending on the length of stay. This fee is payable at Howman's Gap. At Howman's Gap, car parking attendants will direct guests to the Oversnow Terminal to help guests park cars and return guests to the Oversnow Terminal for transport to Summit Ridge. The Oversnow Transport will ferry guests and luggage to Summit Ridge during the winter as roads are closed to vehicles. The Oversnow Transport fees are $32.20 per adult return and $21.50 per child return. Please note that this service ends at 22:00.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance.
