Good breakfast : we liked the big variety of breads and cheeses. Clean renovated rooms. Friendly and helpfull at the reception. Restaurant with also local foods and good wines and beers. Public transport just in front of hotel.

Clean room, tasty breakfast, good location to the city center.

Very classy comfortable hotel in the heart of Vienna (4th district), two metro stops or 15 mins walk away from the city centre. Very comfortable beds, clean room, spacious bathroom with a bathtub. Our room overlooked the main street but was still very quiet.

The breakfast could have had a bit more choice but overall very good.

A wonderful hotel for those who want to experience the atmosphere of the Archduke's time, a good breakfast, a very convenient location in a quiet place and only 10 minutes from the Vienna Opera, close to the metro station and tram number 1, which can take you around the entire Inner City (Ring)

The hotel is very beautiful and truly Viennese. The service was excellent. Getting around was easy - A tram statsion 1 min and metro 2min.

Breakfast the service I paid for extra but value for money was perfect option and the variety of the food provided and the quality was amazing very well,, quiet and pleasant environment if going in future back to Vienna would probably choose the same hotel. Location was about 15 min walk from the city centre in as straight line supermarket in close proximity and lovely restaurant in the hotel itself the quality of the food and the size of the portion was superb.

There wasn't anything to criticise.

The hotel has a welcoming atmosphere. Excellent service. We had a comfortable room with a bay window. Very quiet, even though the windows faced the street. Very clean. Good breakfast with a varied selection.

I enjoyed how central the hotel is to so many sights around the city. Our room was meticulously clean & had all the things one might expect from a 4-star hotel in such a prestigious city. The shower was a delight. The breakfast was most enjoyable, setting us up very well for the days ahead. I was thankful for the complimentary drinks, both in the bar each evening & also bottled waters in our room.We were blessed with the weather (in February!) for the duration of our stay - dry, mild, calm - that added so much to the quality of our stay. Such a pity we couldn't pay extra to have that element the way we'd like it.

I'm really picky here but maybe slightly larger, heavier quilts for winter time?

the room was so small, that you cannot put your suitecase open on the floor - if you do, you cannot access bathroom or something else.

Friendly reception on arrival and staff were friendly and welcoming throught our stay. Room was comfortable, clean and warm with good clothes hanging space and safe provided. Large comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. Room was on the third floor facing the street and there was no noise from the street audible in the room. A good selection of hot and cold food at breakfast including cereals, yoghurt, fruit, pastries. breads, salad items including snip your own cress, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, tasty sausages, bacon, good selection of fruit juices and hot drinks including wide selection of teas and coffee and hot chocolate. Nice seating area for breakfast. Free apples in reception to keep the Doctor away! Computer and printer available for the use of guests - useful for printing boarding passes. Great location between Vienna Hauptbahnhof and the city centre (circa 10 minute pleasant walk from the hotel to the city centre).

The hotel has a fantastic historical atmosphere: all the design, the look, the interior, the lift, everything has the vibe from Austrian Monarchy time, like a time capsule. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast had awesome variety and everything was fresh and tasty. Staff was super kind. The location of the Hotel is great, its few minutes walk from Karlsplatz and from there you can get easily to any kind of public transportation.

Beautiful hotel, very clean and nice rooms, extremely nice and professional staff

The hotel has a vintage feel and is well-maintained. The room service staff are very friendly.

The breakfast area gets quite crowded after 9 AM, especially on weekends. The demand completely exceeds the supply, and waitstaff couldn’t keep up. Additionally, there was a slight noise at night, something like a creaking wooden floor sound. We were not entirely sure what it was, but although it wasn't loud, it was noticeable and rather annoying in the quiet of the night.

A wonderful hotel and restaurant in a beautiful location. Everything was clean, cozy, and well-organized. The staff were extremely kind, helpful, and always available. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Great stay! We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good with a nice selection, and the location was excellent — very convenient for getting around and exploring the area. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

Nothing to complain about.

First time traveling to Vienna and we couldn’t have chosen a better hotel. The location was very close to the center imo, walking at a normal pace 20 mns. We even discovered a short cut to go through the Metro passage to cut some time from having to wait for the traffic lights. We like to walk so we didn’t mind that, or you can take 1 tram station. So glad we took the breakfast incl, it was just right, and a great experience overall, fresh food, spotless clean, etcThe room was cozy and comfy, loved the chocolates on the pillow, such a nice touch. Overall set up was right for our needs and once again, spotless clean. Reception staff was accommodating and resolved our needs during the stay. In hotel proximity you have a pub and restaurant, a pharmacy, supermarket, literally everything you need. We also tried the hotel restaurant for dinner and the food was delicious. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it, don’t overthink, spend those extra money, worth it.

Didn’t realized it throughout our stay, thinking we will get used to it, but the pillows were too soft for our taste, so wished we had asked if possible to change them. The dinner in the hotel restaurant was a nice experience, with very tasty dishes, with some improvement needed on the customer service side, for the staff to be more attentive when new tables arrive. We’ve waited for quite some time, and some acknowledgment that the staff is aware a new table has arrived and will be with us shortly, will be appreciated. The light in the bathroom is too strong for my morning eyes. I can see the hotel was recently renovated but i think more people would greatly appreciate to make another switch to light only the spots by the mirror without the ceiling light. So 1 switch for the ceiling and 1 for the mirror. In the morning when you just wake up and if your blinds are pulled, going to the bathroom is very intense for the eyes.

From the moment we made our reservations, the people at Hotel Erzherzog have consistently been extraordinarily courteous and professional. Check-in begins at 3pm, but they allowed us in our room at noon. The room is beautiful, although a bit small for 2 people (each with a large suitcase and carry-on). The room was clean, the bed was comfortable (you even get to choose the type of pillows you want).Don't pay extra for courtyard view. Lol...There isn't a view at all other than stairs and other rooms.The walls aren't very soundproof, so if you have even not-so-noisy neighbors, you will hear them pretty easily...I mean sneezes, caughs, etc... just normal noises can be heard.There was some construction while were there, so lots of banging, but nothing late at night. This is temporary, so probably won't be an issue soon.The room comes with a generous tea service of coffee and teas and you can request more as you desire to do so.The buffet is really nice and the restaurant staff are very helpful. One of the waitresses speaks 7 languages! The food is excellently prepared and kept plentiful. There are really good options for all diets.The whole hotel is very classy and feels like you are stepping back in time ( but with all the modern conveniences).The location is a 3 minute walk to U1 which is 2 stops from Stephansplatz.We will definitely be back!
