Hotel right on the beach and had a spacious, clean, room with mini fridge and microwave.

We arrived later into the evening and were very confused by the lack of communication surrounding the valet parking and parking lot. When we pulled in no one gave us instructions on how to pull our car back out if we wanted to go get dinner the same evening. There was not a temporary parking so you could unpack and check in before valet disappeared with the car. When checking in we were handed a sheet of paper with only Spanish instructions for things like the gate code to get to the beach. The restaurant/bar was crazy over priced, then charged us an 18% gratuity as well as a transaction fee without warning. Our meal for two people, canned soda, spinach dip and chips, chicken stir fry, and Milanese was $82, almost as much as the room for the evening but definitely wasn’t worth the price. Several people were sleeping inside of the gated pool area. There seemed to only be security next to the front door and no where else on the premises. Online was advertised as having more of a resort feel but upon arrival felt much more like a chain hotel.
