Absolutely spotless and beautiful upscale 5 star property. Well worth the price. Fantastic extensive morning breakfast buffet. Staff is super friendly and eager to please. Wonderful downtown location.

My V8 supercharged HSV Commodore was operational as usual upon arrival. After leaving the valet parking and parking the car, I noticed the firewall on the front driver's side above the tire had been pulled out and broken, and wires were cut. I am concerned that an attempt to steal my high-powered vehicle occurred while it was in the care of the Grand Hyatt Hotel. This is disappointing, as my control dash has fault codes now and needs to be taken to a mechanic to resolve the damage.

The room was great except for the noise in ajoin8ng rooms .Slamming of the door was consistent throughout the night

The River View Rooms were spectacular! The Breakfast choice was amazing. The location is superb- the heart of the Paris End of the City.

Loved the location, room was large, bed was comfortable, loved that it had a bath

Pool area was dated and not very pleasant, hate not having individual toiletries, could hear lots of noise though the walls from the other rooms all night, was told at check-in that a bottle of wine would be sent to our room as it was our anniversary but it was never sent, room service was expensive(especially the delivery charge, I feel this charge should be included)

Location, very convenient being around everything, view was amazing, staff was great very friendly

The only disappointment was the breakfast at 9:30 was cold. I understand let’s turnover equals not as fresh. However I have no doubt if I had ever asked for fresh they would’ve cooked it.

No clearing service in the afternoon like no turn over service. I left the light on to say please clean my room none attended

They allowed us to have an early check in which was great. The staff were very pofessional.

The stay was uncomfortable. The pillows were poor, and during a very hot weekend in Melbourne the room had no windows, so we were entirely reliant on the air conditioning. There were no fans, and the air conditioner fan was inconsistent, switching on and off every few minutes. Eco mode stopped the fan completely, which led to two restless nights. I raised this at check-out. The sauna was also not working, which was disappointing.

Good position. Breakfast good but dark depressing dining. room first thing in the morning. Bathrooms old and a bit scungy, leaking shower. Had a corner room with a nice view but had to chase for room clean daily as very slow. Staff friendly but need more training.

The location was perfect for our needs this weekend with easy access to the Aus Open, dining and shopping in the area. The staff we interacted with were always personable and the atmosphere in the hotel was great!

We accidently forgot a pair of air pods and were disappointed when we called while waiting at the airport, to find out they had not reported as lost property.

our room desperately needs an update in it's design. The colours and furnishings are very dated and it felt like a muchlesser hotel experience. ie the ambience of the room was very ordinary. the person who checked us in was very perfunctory and not friendly .....unpleasant way to start our visit to MelbourneThe incredibly awkward and heavy double set of front doors to Collins were horrible to use. They need to be changed to automated doors. I don't want to touch door handles and then heave heavy doors.
