Hotel Mercure Nevers Pont de Loire

The location over looking the River Loire and a short walk from all Nevers has to offer including the rugby stadium.

Shabby patio area with gorgeous view.No bar available to guests on a Saturday night at 10:30 was a bit disappointing.

Easy to find, friendly staff, good food

Very clean, good breakfast, friendly & helpful staff, we travelled with our dog, no problems at all.

The bed was very comfortable, I like the color combination of the bathroom, helpful staff and attentive to our needs. It was all went well,with refrigerator in the room, a nice view from the river. Clean and spacious room with elevator. I love the atmosphere of that hotel.

They had only single pillow each person , breakfast is quite expensive but I think it's the average price of breakfast in France.

Great location overlooking the Loire with a brilliant terrace and great beer!

Pleasant helpful staff. The room was really comfortable and facilities were good. We had a very pleasant stay. We will stay again. Very happy. Parking was convenient.

Paper cups in rooms just a bit tired, meal in restaurant was a bit substandard - not much taste

This hotel is too tired to be classed as a 4* and was not good value for money!! The bar and restaurant were closed due to staff sickness and there only seemed to be one member of staff manning the whole operation!!! He could not speak much English so no good complaining as he could not understand but more importantly he was trying to do his absolute best in trying circumstances.Cardboard cups In our room was not acceptable.Air conditioning was set at 25 and blowing out warm air!! No toaster at breakfast was unacceptable!! I could go on and on….

Staff very pleasant, with a good working knowledge of English. Rooms comfortable. Meals excellent and good value for the money. Hotel is walking distance from the train station.

Good size twin room for couple of big northern lads with motorbike gear. Clean, fresh & modern bathroom. Secure parking, a must for classic scooters. Good selection of breakfast plus offered express / mini breakfast cheaper option. Good lounge area for socialising in. Lots of other scootersists were staying. Short walk to the centre of town bars & food.

Beer a little pricey, but not excessive. & it went down well.

The terrace. Spacious and comfortable with fabulous views over the river.The location was good. Very easy to access the old town.

The outside of the hotel was shabby. Our room was a reasonable size but there was an unpleasant smell, a bit like boiling vegetables.

Location, secure parking, terrace overlooking the river was nice.

The price of the stay was too expensive. The breakfast was quite expensive for the offer in comparison with hotels I use to book on the Accord group and Radisson's.

Reception staff we’re not going out of her way to be helpful. Bar service was marginal and breakfast passable for price.

Location with view of the river was great, and it was an easy walk into the historic part of town. Receptionists were very helpful, and the room was well equipped and comfortable

The exterior is a bit tired, as are some of the interior finishes, but for the price it is OK
