Super 8 by Wyndham State College

Close to Campus. Clean rooms and very helpful staff.

They serve breakfast. The location

There was no iron and ironing board in the room.

Hot chocolate and coffee all the time was nice.

Thought the price was still a little high and breakfast was unremarkable.

FREE COFFEE CLEAN ROOM

CLIMATE CONTROL, SMALL SINK

Close to Penn State campus

No Wi-Fi, no clock, lousy TV remote

Had a dead battery. Called AAA but had a number of issues with them and was told I had to wait over 5 hours. The desk clerk on Sunday was kind enough to use his car to jump start mine and I was on my way without further delay.

Proximity to Campus

Not very clean, breakfast was very rushed, our shower drain was clogged and unrepairable. Had to move rooms which is never convienent

Spacious rooms, staff was nice and accommodating. Pet friendly with plenty of space outside to walk your pet.

Courteous and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room, convenient location.

The overall appearance was very inviting. The furnishings, rug, wall, coverings, etc. were all in very good condition.

Location and desk staff were good

Room was somewhat rundown but not awful. Housekeeping did not come during 2day stay

The staff were excellent, very helpful, professional and personable

cable outage followed by power outage an hour later - I know you cannot control this so no blame there. Only lasted maybe 20 minutes at most. Breakfast left something to be desired; however, I did not have high expectations

The location is excellent - close to everything! The staff is very friendly. Our room was very comfortable, including the bed.

Well, breakfast was really really sparse and cheap. Lots of prepackaged items. Yes, they had the waffles, but no fresh fruit, stale looking white bread and barely tolerable coffee. The only ice machine that worked was in the lobby.

Easy access to room

The halls and elevator smelled like cigarette and marijuana smoke. The rugs in the room looked worn and outdated.

Room was large and, overall, hotel was a step or two up from many Super 8s. I was on the third floor in a new wing and it was very quiet.

Very minor complaint: when first arriving in your car, the hotel shares an entrance off the road with an IHOP and it can be confusing that it's not just IHOP but also the hotel.

I like this hotel because of its location and general overall maintenance. Everyone was very friendly and the place was clean. I will be staying there again.

The location of this hotel was perfect for us. The staff was super nice and accommodating. We were really glad that this was a pet-friendly hotel. The beds were comfy and the rooms were clean.

After checking in, we received a room with double beds instead of the King Room we booked. I was told the room we booked was not cleaned & the manager had to change our room last minute. That was a bummer. Breakfast options could also be a little better.

good location, nothing else

smale harrible in room, wall unit not working well,no breakfast (nothing to eat)do not weste your many

The service was nice, but the TV didn't work. They moved us to another room only for the TV to glitch the entire time. My kids were so upset by it.

Fix the tv

location was great!

There was a huge loud party next door to me and the front staff had to change my room
