Congress Hotel Mercure Nürnberg an der Messe

Front desk were very friendly and helpful. Nice place, but not in close proximity to where I wanted to visit. My error!

The bathroom was very old fashioned. There is no minibar in the room.

Lounge is nice but room feels old, it has some style but the bed/ walls are old and showing signs of it. Restaurant say they have 24h dishes but when you call, the restaurant is closed (maybe might be a sunday thing bit it is not mentioned. Shower temperature not stable keep changing temperature either cold or too warm. Thats one me being i booked a twin bed by mistake but omg those bed are not comfy

The breakfast was plentiful and beautifully presented. There were many options for a classic breakfast. It was a lovely way to start the morning.The à la carte dinner offered a variety of options and the food was good. The fairground was within a comfortable walking distance, including a route through a beautiful park. The hotel is an excellent choice if you are attending an event at the exhibition hall.

It would have been nice to have a small refrigerator in the room, as well as a grocery store nearby. The selection at the Esso service station was quite limited. In addition, sounds from the corridor could be heard quite clearly in the room.

Very nice, located in a beautiful park just outside of nuremberg. Quite close to the third reich rally grounds and documentation centre

Walking back alone at night in the dark dark woody park as a single woman was a bit nerve racking. Most ppl seemed to drive or be in couples. Hotel was nice tho, had AC and a comfy bed

Our stay was absolute disaster in terms of value for money rate. For 360 EUR/day, it was absolutely unacceptable. It actually was like a 2-star hotel in the price level 80/day. The hotel is far away from the city center and any other restaurant, so you basically rely on its own restaurant. During our 4 day stay, the restaurant was 2 day closed for some private group or only offering extremely overpriced buffet meal eating at bar. Incompetent restaurant stuff - not capable of bring the right beer what was ordered and promising table reservation one day and when we come there was a sign that the restaurant is booked for private action. Rooms looking like a cheap 80 EUR style 2-star hotel. Room service only on explicit request or once in 3 days..... The hotel is overpriced for what it offers and only relies on the fact that it is close to exhibition center and people must go there.

The beds were comfortable.

Staff was not pleasant, rude already at check-in and they promised us multiple breakfast takeaways since we left before the breakfast opened but we did not receive anything and they couldn’t find any notes from this.They didn’t clean our rooms either even tho we kindly asked to get our rooms cleaned.

It's a 15 minute easy walk from Messe, the room was spacious and in general a good to stay place.

As with any hotel in Nuremberg during exhibitions, they literally squeeze off travelers, 600 euros per night for a double standard bedroom, it's just a ripoff. not including breakfast and room service. Unfortunately nobody can avoid this situation but at least give some extras (breakfast) at this unbelievable price per night.

Great location and good comfortable rooms. Staff are excellent.
