The staff were first class. Very friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to provide us with some food after late return to the hospital.

What a beautifully quaint hotel located just short walks to the city’s lake and to sightseeing around Iserlohn. The staff, accommodations, rooms, and the food is of the highest quality and exceptional. On several occasions I made special requests and the staff went out of their way to meet my needs. I highly recommend this lovely hotel and rate it one of the best in Germany.

Stuff

Small room, smaller bath, breakfast is just so-so, nobody refilled the stock out foods

Location is good, easy to reach, enough parking space. Staff was very nice and helpful. Good breakfast included in the price, and the child stayed and ate for free, so excellent value for money

It was cold in the room and beds were not quote comfy - one way or another, we did not sleep well. There was a birthday party at the restaurant including fireworks around midnight, which also didn't help as we had to get up early in the morning. You also hear traffic from the road very well, so earplugs are recommended

the fridge didn’t work and ants on breakfast counter top no kettle in room , needs updating furnishings from the 80s holes in bedding and stains

Lovely romantic wedding venue. Also suited for business, since room has a nice desk area to work at. Comfi bed and lovely bathroom. Great heating. Small menu at dinner, lovely breakfast. Parking is free.

Dinner is expensive!

Great business hotel. Near the main street, pretty far from city center. Restaurant is perfect even breakfast was OK.

Lack of mobile signal. During my stay in the hotel occured problems with WIFI so I had to go to the another hotel to do some work.

Awesome breakfast with loads of choice.

Matresses were a little hard for us. Tea and coffe making facilities in the room would have also been a nice addition.

Location is quiet and lovely. But not convenient without own transport if you need to go to town every day unfortunately. I loved the hospitality, helpful staff and the style of the hotel. The restaurant, choice of food and serving staff were excellent.

The hotel is understaffed, I have to move my luggage my self in 4 different rooms in 3 days stay and my last night was the worst; the staff shifted us to another room again and however there was no hot water in bathroom and no one to fix it and the owner has been informed and he told his staff I can’t help it. You can imagine that my wife has to shower and decontaminate he body before going to the hospital to undergo an operation on the very next day. Last but not the least they charged me a rate for superior room while my stay was in standard room. I was unpleasant stay at all and I am really disappointed.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, a good selection. In addition the evening meal was very good.

The cost of the extra beds in the room was a little high. Although the hotel is well situated for the Seilersee, the public transport (bus) connection into the town centre was not so convenient.

Disappointing

No EV Charging, especially for a "Business hotel" this should be standard in these days. Rooms are clean but don't look very good. Old interior, very basic. Don't know hot it gets four stars.

Overall good, but somehow outdated in style. Exceptionally clean.
