Based on the [Link Redacted] room description, I booked two king deluxe rooms in the beautiful Austrian Inn. When we checked into our rooms they did not have a fireplace, microwave, refrigerator, kitchenette, coffee maker, etc., despite the detailed description of the room on the website. The hotel, after a great deal of discussion, moved us to the adjoining Residences that have no semblence of comparison to the Austrian Inn. They are just modern condo style rooms. Instead of looking out at the slopes like in our rooms in the Inn, we looked out at the fire station and the Chateaux residences across the street. Not on the snow, a decent walk to the slopes, overheated public areas, long lines at the Starbucks like cafe, and almost out of food on Sunday morning, early. Not our best experience at Silver Lake and we've been coming to Silver Lake at Deer Valley for 25+ years.
