Waves Motel and Apartments

The hotel was the worst part of my trip to Australia. No working heat in the room. No staff on duty during the night or morning. My room was located right next to a busy highway that kept me up all night. The entire experience was a huge let down.

I liked the fact it had an air conditioner, room was just big enough for me and my partner

I didnt like the shower, its not very disabled orientated. And also not much room to get into with the hand rails there for someone that is obese Shower pressure was bad. Fridge isn't sufficient for someone staying more then 2 days.

No probems at all.

We were here for one night only on our way to Adelaide. This was quite a lovely room with good space. It is an apartment style with two bedrooms. But we never used the other bedroom as our kids refused to sleep on their own, they're too young. So the sofa bed in the sitting area was godsend. We could create another bed there for the kids with the extra bedding available and from the other room. Beds were comfortable, the toilet was good with great toiletries! Overall we liked this place, would definitely recommend it for a rest stop along a long road trip. The location is also very good, very near to a lot of eateries, and also the Lake Pertobe Adventure Playground.

Fabulous large kitchen, decent sized bedrooms, 2 toilets!! Most of the 'accessories' i.e. kitchen ware, was brand new!Great little outdoor patio area to our apartment too. Central location was a bonus.

Nothing you can help--the traffic was a bit loud occasionally.

No designated parking per room/unit. You need to park wherever it’s vacant/ available. You may ended up parking at the other side of the property, a bit far from your room.

Large rooms, quiet location and friendly staff.

The family apartment was a perfect size, two toilets - one near bedrooms and one downstairs - perfect for a large number staying. It had everything you needed, very comfortable and stylish.

You can hear the traffic - but nothing you can do about that. We all slept fine once traffic eased.

Great location, very pretty motel exterior, room size was fantastic - had a 2nd separate bedroom and a dining area, great for 2 adults and 2 young kids. Staff were friendly.

Car park and exits are a bit tight, had to park at the next door property site (same motel), but not a huge dealbreaker.

The location is amazing, walking distance to all the important things, supermarket, bakery, butcher etc. On site come & go parking is great & a 5 min drive, 15 min walk to the beach is also great! Staff were very friendly, amenities were great, we had an apartment but there is a common kitchen also available & a BBQ area that we used.

The beds are hard, thankfully we took out own pillows. The TV was smart but outdated & randomly popped into Foxtel Mode until we unplugged it, the two TV in the rooms didn't have an ariel connected which would have been great for when the kid went to bed. But they aren't deal breakers.

Great location, walk to main street, supermarket.

Nothing to do with the actual place, but the first night there, there was night roadworks just outside our room. Very noisy, but didn't reflect on the actual motel. Out of their control.

Third time staying here. Happy in the past but disappointed this stay. Room was reasonably clean

Room very tired looking, rust inside microwave, rusty bins, bedside light could not be connected to power, light not working in one room, beds have seen better days
