Terrace with a mountain view, train station within walking distance and then a few minutes to Gstaad
A fantastic hotel to stay close enough to Gstaad but to enjoy nature. This is a family-run property and customer service is superb. I am planning to stay again next summer and hopefully longer this time.
Breakfast might not be to everyone's taste as buffet is very limited and the other items need to be ordered, however it is a big step towards sustainability, so to me - a big plus. Food is absolutely amazing!

The hotel Alpenrose is an excellent place for discovering the area around Gstaad
Breakfast was very good, personally I would prefer a self service buffet for breakfast
the traffic noise from from the nearby road, we had to sleep with closed windows
