At no point during the booking process was it mentioned that breakfast service would be closed for the season. I specifically chose this place because I wanted to enjoy the breakfast experience with the view.

The view from our room was terrific. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Staff, especially food service staff, were friendly and efficient. The food in the cafe and Rainbow Room was excellent.
Housekeeping staff shortage led to lines of guests trying to check in. We waited about three hours, but used that time to do laundry and eat. The basin in our bathroom had no stopper. We were in a second floor unit; having an elevator would have been nice, as we are in our 70s/80s. We also had to wait nearly three hours for a table in the Rainbow Room.
