    Pros +

    • No any thing for telling ....... every thing is awful , I reccomed you don't judge by appearance!!!!!!
    • Friendly environment, smiling staff, restaurant / bar give cozy feeling
    • The location was very nice. Breakfast was nice as well. Staff was very friendly. It may be helpful to ask for a room in one of the nearby buildings - where it will likely be quieter.

    Cons -

    • When I checked in , no body got my laggage . Find several spider in bed . You can't open door and window cos no any net . If open it many insects rushed in your room .
    • hallway to rooms little cramped, steep, loud stairway
    • Our room was 114, right over the cafe below. The noise from the cafe was very disturbing - as it did not quiet down until after 1am. The air conditioning blew right onto the 2 beds nearest the windows - which caused 2 of the 3 of us to develop a cough (but it was needed, otherwise way too warm in the room). The beds were too soft and the pillows too flat.

The bathroom was not as good as we experienced in the floor rooms. A bit too small and the shower good but not great as we were used to in the past times we stayed at NK.

Didn’t have breakfast. Too expensive. Would have liked more outside seating . I was in 315 and a bench outside the block would have been useful

    As above

    Beautiful setting

Tim was very plain, dirty and the bed was old and tired

    7ReneePosted on: 2-28-2025

    Great beds!

The car park isn’t safe and the restaurant is dirty

    3BranislavPosted on: 2-11-2025

Cold room with open bathroom, bad condition.

Not functioning heating, no door on bathroom and leaking bathroom sink, lights in bathroom blinking a lot.

It is the only hotel in Huizen, so it is the default choice. However, the price was fair and room very comfortable with a nice bathroom. The staff was friendly and did not ask me to pay a 15 euro "penalty" for arriving at 14:05 rather than 15:00.

The breakfast was pricy at EUR 18.50. But, there are no alternatives within an easy walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is a bit far from the center of Huizen, though walkable if the weather is clement and you have time. The 15:00 check-in time is a bit late in the day - 13:00 is fairer. But, as you see, arriving less than an hour before 15:00, it was not enforced.

room was stylish, not noisy in a separate builing overlooking the marina. A little wear and tear but i personally don't mind that. Bed and bedding were good & clean. Basic utilities (coffee maker, watercooker, towel, tv) were fine

minor thing: i missed something to stir my coffee

    10KarenPosted on: 12-24-2024

The beds and pillows were really comfortable, and the room was a good size.

    The breakfast wasn’t very good

    8JosephPosted on: 12-2-2024

The location was nice, and it was clean. Breakfast was copious.

The room was cold: I heated it with the hairdryer because the heating system was not very fast. The bedding was OK, but the bed was narrow.

the room was clean and housekeeping very helpful and friendly. Parking perfect, enough parking space and close to the hotel. Location also good.

Reception staff could be better, not really friendly or helpful. Sorry to say this, but this was my experience. No help with heavy suitcase or showing where the room is. Also, if you want to watch RTL 4 or 5, very bad connection. This was also the same problem in february, this should be fixed.

    Location good

Accommodation not in main hotel building, this was not stated at the time of booking. Annex building very tired, carpets dirty and old musty smell throughout entrance haal and stairs

I love the view, and the room was cleaned well everyday. Laundry service is nice too.

Could add the shelves in the shower, AC not working for the whole 10 days but front desk gave a heater and a fan. Breakfast is a bit pricey but the egg salad is delicious, unfortunately the second time I iget breakfast it wasn't there.

    8TomPosted on: 11-4-2024

The rooms were clean and quiet. The surrounding area had a good selection of places to drink and eat, and a small park to keep the kids entertained. The gluten free breakfast was good, with a selection being offered.

Unfortunately we couldn't check in on time, but the staff made up for this and it was worth the small wait.

    Location and stylish buildings

Too soft bed mattress - impossible to sleep well

    Great location.

We recently stayed at your hotel for a weekend karate competition with kids, and while most aspects of our experience were positive, we were disappointed by the breakfast policy. Since the competition required an early start, we hoped the hotel could accommodate an earlier breakfast time, especially for the young athletes who needed a nutritious meal before their events. However, when we requested this, we were told by Charlotte that breakfast wouldn’t be served before 8:00 am because “those are the rules.” The alternative offered— two slices of bread, three slices of ham, a banana, and an orange—was far from sufficient for active kids needing a balanced meal. A more thoughtful approach or a few additional options would have made a big difference. We understand policies are in place for a reason, but more flexibility would be greatly appreciated, especially when hosting guests with specific needs for events. Thank you for considering this feedback for future improvements.

    Location

No parking near the room. Beds very soft and bedding snelt of body odor

    10RobinPosted on: 10-16-2024

Absolutely everything, the location the choice of places to eat and drink, the people the staff, they were all very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

We didn’t have another day to stay, cannot say anything bad about property, and if I am that area again, I will certainly look at staying here
