Lovely building and helpful wait...

The room was advertised as a Heritage Queen. Our expectations were for a much larger room given that the hotel is an older style building. The room was very small, next to the toilets and in the main corridor to the bar. We could hear music in the room coming from the corridor outside.There was no space to place suitcases ( no luggage racks ) and with a person sitting on the only chair, it was a squeeze into the en suite.Overall, a very disappointing room !

Lovely setting rooms clean and spacious, generous breakfast. Quiet rooms.

Bathroom light over mirror not working. Towels were not changed daily. There weren’t enough power points to charge phones and awkwardly placed.

Everything - especially the restaurant, bar, scent, decor. The standout was a small touch, something no hotel does and something everyone talked about - the face wipe and face washer, what a terrific touch.

The venue was charming, the room comfortable and well appointed. Had dinner at the restaurant which was excellent. Already booking my next stay when back in Bowral for work.

Service was very slow at times in the dining room due to lack of staff.

It's a lovely old building, well looked after, in a superb location for getting into Bowral (even by foot). The restaurant/bar is fantastic - great food and vibe. All the staff were friendly, polite and professional.

The room and bathroom was formatted a bit odd. We booked a king room with sofa bed. The sofa bed (when in bed mode) kinda cover the door... we also had to rejig the furniture to use it, meaning we had a bedside table in the middle of the rom.It's a shame the pool and facilities were under construction (it was very hot weather!). The games room could do with some music, it's a bit soulless.

Wonderful hotel. We chose it to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. The hotel's decor makes you feel like you've traveled back in time; it's beautifully decorated. Excellent facilities, staff, and amenities. Special thanks to the manager and hotel staff for the surprise they prepared for our wedding celebration..

The bed, so comfortable. Best sleep away for over ten years. Better than my mattress at home. The staff. Courteous, knowledgeable. Breakfast. Great buffet, and supplementary breakfast menu.

Good breakfast, friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Beautiful gardens. Stylish decor.

A bedside table on both sides of the bed would have been nice, plus reading lights. We had just one lamp that wasn’t working. (We forgot to mention on check out.)

Bad television reception. No channel 7 and even staff baffled by it.
