Hotel Montbrillant

We had a small kitchen which was excellent. The location is very good.

It is tired and the rooms need to be done up. Especially the bathrooms. It is 2 star

The location is great.

The rooms are outdated and one of the two rooms we booked has a strange odor.

It was literally across the street from the Geneva train station, which was convenient given that we had a 5:39AM train to catch.

A lovely hotel next to the train station. Very convenient. Staff were excellent and all were conversant in English. We had room 405 which overlooked the train station. We could see fireworks over the lake at night.

The shower was very small, but satisfactory.

A clerk was kind. And this hotel is just 3 minutes walk away from GVA train station. I recommend this hotel if you have early schedule for train.

My room was on the 5th floor on additional building, but an elevator runs only 0-4th floor. It was kind of hard to carried all my luggage by stair 4th to 5th floor.

I arrived late and tired. The hotel is very easy to find: just walk out of the station underpass, heading North. The staff member at reception, Marius, was very helpful, and I felt welcome. The room was immaculately clean and spacious. The shower was powerful. Even though the hotel is close to the station, the room was peaceful, the bed was comfortable and I had an excellent night's sleep.

Value for money, clean and very warm room with a really comfy bed. Lovely reception staff. Perfect location for transport.

Nothing particularly springs to mind. The room was slightly dated but I think modernisation is underway.

The location is great, it's near Cornavin station and it's very good connected to city centre.

The check-in process was relatively quick, as the room was available earlier than expected. Overall, the hotel is located directly at the station providing easy accessibility to public transportation as well as to the trains themselves. The room itself was of a good size and quiet, the windows were well insulated so that you didn't hear the noise of the trains rolling by.

Unfortunately, we were not able to take a shower the following day, as there was no hot water throughout the building. The problem was not resolved before check-out. The room was equipped with a floor lamp, coffee maker and fridge in the same corner, however, only the coffee machine could be plugged in, as there was only one plug instead of multiple ones. In addition, there were two articles of clothing accidently left in the room upon check-out. Despite having contacted the hotel reception a few hours later on the same day and specifying where the items were left in the room, the front desk confirmed that they could not locate the items left and that the room was empty, no new guests were checking in. This was very surprising and disappointing, as the explanation provided did not make much sense... therefore, ensure that you've take all your items upon checking out, as they won't be there if forgotten.

Very clean, and liked the guy who worked on 24th afternoon between 13:00–13:30 pm; he provided us with the useful details about the city.

All went all; except the lady was working at the reception; we felt she was slightly less unwelcoming attitude; maybe she was having a bad day; but if she is reading this comment: my advice would be .. the guests don’t know if you are having a bad day; we all are humans and can have personal issues but while at work we should try to be as much as friendly as possible ; I still think you are a nice human being and good luck. Thats all really the hotel was amazing overall. Oh.. one more detail : the shower pipe joint was leaking water a bit but maybe some customers will have some issues with that.

I was having an allergic reaction to the rug in the room I was assigned, but the very friendly and kind receptionist changed my room to one without a rug and I recovered. Thank you for a very excellent stay!

Location was great

The walls are very thin! I woke up on the middle of the night and it sounded like my neighbour was in the room with me!

Location was excellent just outside the main train station of Geneve. The staff was really friendly. Hotel was nice and clean. The room was very spacious and very quite.

Although it was listed that we should have had an oven in the kitchen, we didn't have. Instead of it they put a mini fridge although there was another fridge already. I would have been convenient for us to have an oven.

It is located 2 minutes walk from the train station 6-8 minutes to bus station and 8-10 minutes from the center and Lacman Lake. Lots of shops and restaurants in this area. During my stay I received a free travel ticket for all means of transport in zone 10 and it is not small! Although it is located right next to the train station, there is no noise from traffic and trains.
