Garden Place Hotel

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. There were spiders in our room. The Jacuzzi bathtub was absolutely appalling. You couldn’t pay me to get in that. The creepy dolls in the hallway made it feel like a haunted house more than a hotel.

Roomy, comfortable bed and linens, very quiet.

Seemed a little dirty in shared spaces but overall our room was clean.

The decor was amazing. The breakfast was good.

They charged me an extra night by mistake, but the manager did refund the money. He was very nice.

Us LEAVING was the best thing about this place.

Booked the room a month in advance, arrived at 9 P.M. to be told they don't have any clean rooms avail for us. The place was dingy and old and front desk clerks could care less re their failure, as reps of the hotel.

Didn’t have any hot water not even warm water for the shower. Told staff said “might fix it probably won’t” called down to the front desk 3 times no answer.

Bed was comfortable

Staff were extremely rude and breakfast was very bad.

The location, decor, themeing, and price

The rooms are in need of repairs and updating. The room showed signs of water damage on the ceiling and obvious wall repair where a square of wall paper was roughly placed on the wall. Other guests were noisy.

The only redeeming quality is how close it is to the airport.

Where do I start? This hotel used to be nice, it has gone downhill fast. The cleaning staff is rude, yells down the halls to each other in early hours while guests are asleep, and the floor was so greasy I felt like I was sleeping at McDonald’s.

The only good thing about this hotel was the large parking lot.

Hotel should NOT be a 3.5 star hotel: dirty, with peeling wallpaper, dirty furniture, poor service, front desk minimal English, old and broken gym equipment, poor water pressure, eggs and Sausage links ice cold, loud rooms - no soundproofing. Get it?

After requesting Twinst to change rooms, the gentleman at the counter assisted me.

The air conditioner was not functioning properly. I had to request a replacement twice due to issues with the units in the two assigned rooms.

Yes while in the Jacuzzi alarm went off had to stand outside for a hour then there was no breakfast left at 9 am would like some type of compensation for the stay.

Checking out at 430 am took a bit couldn’t find the desk person

The guest hallways are a mess. Peeling wallpaper with black mold behind. Once I was in my care worn room, I was fine. The sheets were clean and the mattress was comfortable.

Registration and lobby area were very pretty, room was ok.

Hotel seems to be in a state of remodel. Pictures online vs in person were not the same. Booked king room, got two beds instead. Would not recommend hotel in current state.

Elegant Lobby and Courtyard. It feels like you're walking down a street in Italy.

Our room was very much past its prime. This was a very classy hotel in the 1990s but it seems like nothing has been updated in the past 30 years. The bathroom in our room was still very elegant, but the sleeping area was dingy and dated.

It was terrible from the moment I walked in

Yes the service was so bad it took over an hour to check in. I was sent to 3 different rooms the first one was filthy the second one was being remodeled and then the 3 rd

It was close to all the places we wanted to go. Easy parking. VERY friendly staff.

We were a little disappointed at the condition of the hallway carpets. Many stains and definitely showing it's age.

So outdated. Not well kept and felt not very safe. Side doors can be opened without needed a hotel room key.
