Norwood Hotel

Location, handy to stores and places I wanted to go.

Paying for parking, will not stay there again and pay for parking. Never had to pay to park at a hotel. Paid premium rate and more for parking.

Location was convenient.

Sheet appeared to have been slept on by previous guest. Hotel did not provide info regarding restaurant.

The lounge was beautiful and the staff was very friendly.

The rooms were dated and expensive, less luxurious for the price

The location was perfect My grandson was born at St Boniface. The room was huge and really nice The staff were awesome

The neighbors in the next room kept us awake all night finally called front desk at 5 am

I did not appreciate having to pay $20 parking at the hotel which I believe should provide this for patrons.

Location to hospital. Easy entrance and exit. Felt safe enough

Disappointing

What could've been better was the house keeping lady not barging into my room.I was getting dressed from the shower& I was standing by my bed. She opened the door after I repeatedly told her "please Hang on I'm changing!" But did she listens? Not at all.. I found that to be sooooo rude! Top it off she asked when I was going to leave? Uhm excuse me? It was only 10am. I'm very aware of check out being@11AM! I felt so rushed and no privacy!

The hotel’s website mentioned nothing about a parking fee. At check in I was told there was a $12 parking fee. I refused ro pay the fee. It was removed - which was very nice.

Some of the cleaning staff didn't speak English, so it was difficult to communicate, and the staff closet outside the room created additional noise.Otherwise I appreciated being away from the elevator and close to the stairs.I wish the cooler in the room was a real fridge. Once I realized that I shouldn't leave food as it went bad, the front staff kindly kept my food in their fridge, which I really appreciated,, though this was an inconvenience.

This was the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in the U.S. or Canada. The location is decent and staff are friendly, but the building is very old. Only one elevator was working and it was extremely slow due to large conference crowds.The room looked renovated but was not clean — we found two bed bugs in our bed. Soundproofing was terrible; we kept hearing people in the hallway and even thought someone was trying to open our door at night.For the price, the hygiene and comfort were far below expectations. If you have other choices, don’t stay here.
