What an amazing hotel - fantastic setting - lovely facilities - nice tasty welcome drink and a superb breakfast

Loved this place but just to make it a 10/10 we would like the patio outside our room cleaned, perhaps even an area covered to sit out with dry furniture. A refurb of broken door in room and light fittings repaired. Coffee and tea making facilities are always a bonus considering the cost.

he location is absolutely breathtaking – words can hardly describe it. The property is well-kept, historic, and full of unique charm. The staff are extremely kind and helpful, and the owner personally talks with guests, which makes the stay even more special.Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners were all served with spectacular views – over the vineyards, the surrounding nature, the charming town, and the mountains. The breakfast itself was incredibly rich and varied – far from a typical Italian breakfast – with fresh fruit, a wide selection of dishes, and around ten different kinds of juices. Lunches and dinners with those views created a truly unforgettable experience.We stayed in the tower room – the view was simply indescribable, something you really have to experience yourself. The apartments are spacious, and despite the castle’s long history, everything was perfectly functional – no issues with water or air conditioning. Every detail was carefully thought out, and we truly felt the magic of the place.The outdoor pools with stunning scenery, comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas, the indoor pool, and even the spotless, well-equipped gym with a panoramic view of the valley – all of it made our stay exceptional.In summary – this place is absolutely worth visiting. You feel comfortable, enchanted, and truly special here. A destination that leaves unforgettable memories.

Beautiful property and wonderful staff. Our room was comfortable. The restaurant was amazing. Wines were delicious.

- Excellent location with stunning views, especially from the restaurant.- Lovely gardens and pools, with plenty of sun loungers.- Nice indoor spa area which was never crowded.- We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and 5 course dinner - which was included in half board.- Most of the staff on reception, maintenance staff, and staff in the restaurant were kind and patient.

Despite the hotel’s website being available in English, this hotel really only caters to German language speakers. As non-German speakers, many of the experiences promoted on their website and/or booking.com, were unavailable to us, including:- Wine tour only available in German.- No guidebooks available in library in English.- When we arrived, the evening receptionist did not speak much English, meaning we missed out on important information about the hotel, such as how to use the spa facilities or get food at lunchtime (as restaurant was closed). We were not given a welcome drink or cookies, and were left to find our room by ourselves (however I don’t know whether this was due to the language barrier or not).- Breakfast buffet food was only labelled in German.- Dinner menus were in German (or Italian upon request).Our bedroom was large and clean, the mattress was good, however:- There was no air-con and only one thin pillow each, so sleeping was uncomfortable.- The bathroom was dated, with some damaged tiles and old black mould.- Our “private” terrace was unpleasant: it had lots of weeds and other guests could accidentally walk straight onto it.- Despite the room description on booking.com, there was no coffee machine (or any drinks facilities) or chocolate.Also:- Despite a sign saying that it is cleaned daily, the infinity pool clearly was not, as much of its floor was green and slippery with algae.- On checkout we realised we’d been charged for coffee at breakfast and for water at dinner, which was a surprise.- Service at dinner was mixed. On two nights we did not receive dessert.- We saw one of the owners most days, however he never smiled at us or said “Guten Tag”. (Not sure if this was due to the language barrier or something else.)- On their website it says lunch is available from 12:00 to 14:00 and small snacks all afternoon.

Location and hotel grounds were beautiful with an amazing view, food was very good, room in the castle was charming.

Service was not to the level that would be expected of a hotel like this, and some staff were unhelpful / rude. The outdoor spa is not very well maintained e.g. the infinity pool needs cleaning.

It is amazing, we didn't stay in the castle, but in the second building, which is super nice as well!

Can't think at something, maybe just that sometimes in the night our neighbours were smoking so we had to close the doors to our balcony

Infinity pool needs more cleaning.

This is the second year in row when we chose Schloss Hotel Korb to stay in the Bolzano neighborhood.All conditions are excellent. Fritz Dellago is an incredible host, being present everywhere and paying attention and having something to each one of his guests. We travelled many places but did not experience so much consideration from owners.

The location on the hill with stunning view down to Bolzano and the surrounding mountains is unbeatable. Very quiet location as well and the charme of the castle is just great including the castle dog Sissi.

Opening times of the different facilities are clearly improveable. For a 4*superior hotel one can expect more than just having reception until 8pm. The hotelbar itself is not operating with separate staff, there is always someone from the restaurant you need to ask for. Then there is also no music in the evening in the restaurant or in the outdoor area which is used as a kind of bar. If you want to order to need to look up for someone to serve you. And in general the restaurant staff is quite uncoordinated by either forgetting orders or when it comes to pay the drinks, they dont know anymore what you had.

Not enough staff at breakfast - tables were not cleared so had to clear table self. No-one told us we could order a cooked breakfast. Didnt get the table we booked for dinner. Service level generally chaotic in restaurant.

Beautiful property

Incredible location—truly a beautiful castle surrounded by vineyards.The scenery and setting are stunning, and the overall experience felt very special. However, there were a couple of issues that really affected our stay.First, the rooms have no air conditioning. During our visit, the temperature inside reached 95°F (35°C), and we couldn’t open the windows because of bugs—which is understandable given the winery setting, but still frustrating. For a 4-star property, this level of discomfort at night was surprising. I came here with my girlfriend to relax, but we couldn’t sleep properly because of the heat.Second, on Saturday morning at 8:30 AM, a cleaner abruptly entered our room without knocking. I woke up to find her standing next to the bed, which was extremely intrusive and unacceptable.The rest of the stay was lovely, but these two issues—especially the heat—really took away from what should have been a restful experience.

The location, the view!! The facilities, spa The outdoor garden and pool. It was an incredible experience . The home made wine and dinner was excellent The staff makes you feel like vip I will be back!!
