Amazing but I would have liked the option of a simple breakfas

The food was impressive.

Billed as a restaurant spa hotel, we booked 2 nights and expected to use those facilities. The restaurant was only open for one of our two days and was already fully booked. We were told that the owner had tried to discuss this by making a call to me that did not connect. She did not try to communicate through the app as others do. She did eventually offer us dinner (no lunch).. she biokwd another restaurant nearby for the 2nd night. Breakfast was only available as a huge brunch at €25 a head, but we did negotiate a lower price for just coffee and a croissant for one day. The spa/hammam facilities are only available with a paid treatment and we were told they were already fully booked. The one facility advertised that was avaiable in the price is a casino, but we were told it is 1km away. The fridge in our room was noisy and we had to disconnect it to sleep.

The write-up undersells this property if you are a foodie! It’s a Michelin Star Restaurant (since 2009) with very comfortable and stylish rooms upstairs. Husband and wife team Nadia and Philippe are very welcoming and the description Gastronomic doesn’t do the food justice, the breakfast was easily the most different and best we’ve ever had in a hotel, so much so we stayed an extra night!

Nothing, it’s wonderful

Disappointing.

The charge for breakfast (which was only advised after our arrival) was Eu25 per head which we felt was excessive. In addition, we booked this hotel because it was advertised on Booking.com as being a "Restaurant hotel". In fact, the restaurant was not available on the date we booked, and most of the restaurants in the local area were also closed. The owner tried to make a reservation at a local restaurant which they believed was open, but when we arrived at that location it was closed. The most annoying thing about this whole experience is that booking.com took full payment in advance and before we were made aware that the restaurant would not be available. This was not a cheap hotel by Breton standards, and to have no meal available and no apparent way of recovering our up front payment left us feeling very disappointed.

I suspect most people stay here because of the quality of the restaurant. It is more of a guest house than a hotel, a bit homey, comfortable but not posh. The village is pretty sparse, but the country side is pretty and you are not too far from the water. A car is essential. Friendly staff.

When the restaurant is closed, you are a bit isolated. No on site staff at night. Furnishings a bit quirky. Location somewhat isolated.

Expensive and uninspiring

We arrived and there was no one there We had to wait 20 mins to get in … no apology when Nadia eventually arrived… in a rush to get away !Restaurant closed …. Very disappointing No one else staying….. no service at all Agree breakfast in our room at 9.00 … 9.15 no breakfast… went downstairs not expecting us Suite lovely but lacking in facilities…. No mirror apart from bathroom.. no where to use the hairdryer providedNo bins anywhere… small one in bathroom… no milk for tea or coffee…small kitchen area but no facilities Monsieur Philip charming and apologetic… great breakfast eventually ..beautiful restaurant!

Comfortable room and bed, excellent shower with the addition of a bath in the bedroom.

There was a microwave kettle and small washing machine by no plates cutlery etc to eat with.

Lovely hotel, very French. Our pretty room on the ground floor overlooking the courtyard, was wheelchair and dog friendly - so perfect! .Pleasant, helpful staff. Real star though was the food, it was inventive and fabulous, served by knowledgeable staff who clearly had a passion for what they do. Not cheap but worth every cent.

Beautiful building, unique rooms

Large double bed was really two singles zipped together so it was a little odd to sleep on, but still pretty comfortable

Cute and stylisé. Les lits au top. Great beds and pillows. Spacious and quiet. Unplug the fridge if you are sensitive to noise. Best shower of my life! Too bad the restaurant was closed but I was there on a Monday night at the beginning of May so that's on me.
