The staff were friendly and helpful.

Disappointed that there was no hand soap in the bathroom.

Very clean, spacious room. Breakfast was nice. Very nice area to walk around in if you wanna stay in Southsea.

Could’ve maybe included the cappuccino in the price of breakfast in stead of having to pay for it.

Staff changed our room for us because we would have been on top floor ,no lift.

Different buildings up and down the street . At breakfast there were chips still on the floor from the night before, a waitress just smiled and left them there when we told her. Ok

Having stayed here previously, we can see there have been cosmetic improvements and upgrades to the room.

For a boutique hotel, there was not any shower gel or body wash in the bathroom. The hotel does not have any personal touch anymore and that was a massive disappointment from previous visits. Going to another hotel for breakfast, luckily the weather was kind and we didn’t have to walk across in the rain. should have umbrellas available in case.

Breakfast was delicious and very hot . Loved our room decor . Staff very helpful and friendly and the breakfast delicious.

The only slight down side was the number of stairs but that can't be helped. A bit more variety on the menu would be good for those who like plainer food.

The receptionist was very welcoming / lovely. The room was beautiful, very roomy and airy, nice decor. Breakfast was ok. Staff very pleasant.

Bathroom wasn’t as clean as I would expected. The towel radiator was dusty.

Location for a good walk down to gunwarf quay with free parking and the breakfast was great

As we're in Portsmouth allot. Was told to look at the website and walked off.

A very clean and comfortable room, bed sooo comfortable. Receptionist on our arrival was so friendly yet professional and very helpful (we were arriving quite late from a ferry arrival)

Initially a bit confused about parking and checking in but a quick phone call and one if your lovely receptionists was most helpful.

Staff were really lovely & helpful. Facilities were lovely, room was clean & had all we needed.

The properties (there are three buildings from what I saw) are well situated, within walking distance to the beach/pier (literally 2 minutes by taxi which was just under £5). The breakfast was very good with quality vege/vegan options (which you don’t see often). The staff were friendly and polite and as I arrived, a lot of people turned up at the same, they called in more front of house staff to deal with the customers (which I don’t see happen very often). I was in a single room, it was small and functional, which was reflected in the price. The complimentary items in the room were helpful. They even hair conditioner with complimentary shower items (again, not something I often see in small hotels). Bed was comfy, the building is set off of the main road and I heard no noise outside on the street (with my window open), so it being in a residential area definitely ensures the noise level is minimal. Top tip: to stop the light coming through the gap between the frame and blind, push the blind flush against the window and put the tv remote against it, buttons facing down.

Even though it was a single room and the reasons for not having extra doors in a small space are obvious, I’d have liked a bathroom door as everything is visible through the window in this small room. I pulled the blind down to avoid anyone seeing in as I was rushing to get ready.

Excellent breakfast and lovely room although I'd want to take note of whether its a bath or shower in the room (I'd always want a shower).

Parking would be a bit pricey if this wasn't a business trip.

The room was really lovely and spacious with everything we needed. Very beautiful and quirky decor in all buildings! The breakfast was delicious and had a good selection with some very good coffee! The morning staff were really lovely, freindly and accomodating.

It was very confusing when we first arrived as there are two buildings round the corner from each other, one where our room was, the other were you check in. So we were looking for the Stattons Hotel & Boutique signs where as they are nowhere to be seen so we had to call up to ask for directions. The member of staff that came out to the car and to the carpark, and then saw us to our room was not clear on what was going on and left us confused and a bit baffled by the whole process! We could see we weren't the only guests leaft feeling like this. The carpark is expensive at £15 a night, but the area is so hard to drive and park in that I did not trust my car being left out on the street. The TV is VERY high up the wall, almost at the ceiling so we didn't end up watching anything

Staff were great very accommodating, rooms were what you would expect for a hotel such as this and breakfast was lovely

Lovely hotel in quiet residential area. Excellent off street parking (pre-book £15). Helpful staff.

Room was small (but I had a very cheap deal so cannot complain).
