Located just minutes from Southsea seafront and the center of Portsmouth, Florence House is Portsmouth’s original boutique hotel, offering free WiFi and parking. A mix of on and off-road parking is available, reservation is required. All bedrooms and bathrooms are individually designed, offering stylish and comfortable furnishings. Each room features a LCD TV, and vegan friendly toiletries. The Florence House Hotel offers varied dining options including the Garden for indoor and outdoor dining. It is housed within a lovingly restored Edwardian house that has retained many original features. Florence House Hotel is the first hotel in The Mercer Collection group of boutique properties. The historic Mary Rose, HMS Victory, and HMS Warrior warships are less than a 10-minute drive away, along with the Blue Reef Aquarium. Gunwharf Quays Shopping Center and Portsmouth Harbor Railway Station are also less than 10 minutes away by car. Due to the age of our building, we do not have elevators. If you are unable to manage stairs please contact the property directly. Please note, our restaurant is closed in the winter, opening from May - October. This is an annex building - our reception, breakfast room and restaurant are located opposite the property.
