Centro Hotel Oberhausen

I didn't have breakfast, so I can't tell anything about it.The bed was really comfortable, the room was clean, there were tea coffee towels papers and ... Access was really easy and quick because almost every bus line goes there, even at night. Staff was really respectfull and kind and they told me anything I needed I could ask them. Also, there was really quiet. You could go in and out of hotel at anytime of day.At the end, the price was a little bit higher than a 8 room hostle, so I suggest this to everyone. I won't go to Oberhausen probably again, but if I go, I will stay at this hotel for sure.

Room was clean as well as the beds shower and comfortable enough, basic but ok.

I have the idea its undergoing renovation. Elevator broken, payment system not working for meastro or mastercard. It is not 500m from CentrO as stated in the booking.com search ‘most close to CentrO’ in the description it is stated correct like 3-4 km away from CentrO. But I already booked and only noticed upon arrival.

Very accomodating staff, Good service. Room was clean and delivered on time for check in. The location in the midst of Oberhausen Center is ideal for a quick trip.

There was no one at the front desk so I left the room key in the grey mailbox on the side of the door.

Location is good, central but quiet, next to shopping and transport. Access is possible through the night through apart entrance! Parking at the back is useful even dark and dodgy and through a narrow driveway because on street parking is very hard to find in the evening. Enough hot water in the shower and water also draining away very good.Beds were comfortable!

Room was small and not exceptionally clean. Hairdryer broken and even I could say dangerous. No thee or coffee making possibilities, things broken in the room, tv did not work properly. Shower making noises but the basics are there and working.

Rooms are not clean . Bed linen are old looking and dirty. . The comforter for my room was for toddler or kids with cartoon characters. Room smells. During my stay room never got cleaned. My bed was never made . The internet barely works. On and off through out my stay. I requested to check out of this horrible place but wouldn’t get my refund. This place is like a dormitory nothing like a hotel. No fan or air conditioning. Due to the weather I needed a fan at least.

It was night around 11:30PM and the key which was given to us was not working seems couldn't open the door and I was stranded outside with my family. Luckily we got another tenant in the same hotel opened the door and we could able to enter. The hotel reponsible person didn't answered the call and not even bothered to check in the morning with my missed calls.

Friendly staff.Helpful with any questions.Clean towels daily.

Lack of refrigerator.Parking driveway is a tight fit for your car.

The location was were approachable, near to the centre of Oberhausen.

The room was really dirty (the sheets, the floor, all the surfaces etc.) and the staff of the hotel was not helpful.

Bad

We came there for a business trip, but there are a lot of bed bugs in the room, we could not fall asleep. Had to find another hotel at 1am, which made us exhausted. We never experienced a hotel like this before!!!! Moreover, the staff who is working at the reception is rude too, since we cannot understand German, and our French banck account does not work somehow at the beginning, it's not our fault. So we changed another card then it worked. And we asked what is the different from the receipt, he answered in a so unpatient way- first bad impression.

Good location near to my favourite cafe and restaurant. Room and bathroom were clean. Other reviews said that the staff don't speak English, there was only one of us speaking German when checking in and that was me. There was a nice terrace out the back, not posh but 100% to my taste.

Had trouble with WiFi but I didn't have time to ask for help before my online lesson so it could have been me.

The location is pretty good but that’s all.

The duvet and pillows had a very unpleasant smell and were very old. Pillows were very uncomfortable, I couldn’t sleep at all. I will never book it again and definitely do not recommend it.

Free parking was a bonus.

I found the location far away from shopping area. Difficult to communicate with the staff. The room was okay, but lots of spiderwebs in the corners and the fridge was full of old crumbs. I would recommend to go for a proper hotel insted. This is a hostel .

Location, very central. Close to different shops and restaurants. It's at ten minutes walking distance from Oberhausen hbf. So also easy access to public transportation and taxis. Room was wide enough for my family and the beds were comfy and it was clean. If you only need a place to sleep, so basic stay only is quite nice.

Staff: difficult communication due to language barrier. Not good in English. Evening was mostly no one to be found behind the reception. No wifi access or they say they have wifi, but instructions to get on their WiFi was very terrible didn't get it and no one to ask for help. Something about go to control panel select their name(didn't even appear on our telephones) create a new account....well very unaccessible WiFi for us, so many steps. We used WiFi from the trainstation, which had easier WiFi access, click @db and you had WiFi access. The power outlets were less and the other available ones were behind the bed...one of them was even defect, fell out??? The shower was very tight. No air conditioning be warned for if you want to go in the summer.

I liked that the room was close to the location I was going to, I was judging for an event, so it was nice to know I was atleast close to the cardstore.

Where to begin, the staff was rather unfriendly when I arrived, he also looked like he didn't want to work there anymore, the elevator itself sounded like it was about to break any second. and when I wanted to go down from my room to the city the elevator for some reason didn't want to move.
