The electric car charger only worked for 15’ and then switched to the other car. Only 2 spots available. Then had to keep coming back to restart it. Would be good in the fitness centre to have a treadmill

Conveniently located to the Autobahn but still quiet, place has style, breakfast is excellent.

The less expensive rooms are far worse — pay for a deluxe or skip it. Simple rooms are large but joylessly furnished, bathroom is poorly designed unless you are teeny tiny (you will smack your arm against the shelf by the toilet and the shower stall was a tight fit for my petite partner, and a bad joke for me). This is yet another hotel that has replaced good German-style bedding with a ridiculously stiff box spring on a platform, so not a great night’s sleep.

Breakfast was great and the location was beautiful but a bit far from town. The resturant food was excellent but a bit pricy.

It was very hot during my stay and the suite they provided does not include airconditioning only one standing fan. Thought they need to inprove that as the weeather is getting warmer by the years.

What a delightful stay at Hotel Schindlerhof! The beautiful Japanese garden was a serene escape, and our bedroom views directly onto it were simply magical. Waking up to such a tranquil scene made our visit incredibly special and truly warming. We can't wait to return!

The overall experience was great. Lovely & Courteous staff and wonderful ambience all around. I would specially call our Lara at the front desk, who was very helpful, always going the extra mile with a smile!

Internete coverage was a bit poor in room 137. Also constantly you had to refresch the connection and everytime accept it. Is annoying if you work from your hotel room the whole day.

The employees where mostly great, great service and very friendly. There seemed to be a manager walking on the floor which was less friendly. The restaurant food and service was great. Breakfast was also very nice.

The room was very warm (24 degrees). there was a little airconditioning unit in the room but this was not switched on so the room was not cooled when we got there. The unit was very loud so we couldn't cool the room during the night.

Air conditioned hallways leading to a room with no ac felt a little like a cheap trick; there was at least a good quality quiet fan supplied. Minibar prices very steep, even for mineral water. I have enjoyed my stays in winter here more. Student wait staff tried hard, but made several beginner’s mistakes that you don’t expect at a restaurant of this quality.

One of the hotel gems I have stayed at since my childhood's first road trips to Europe. Due to the many happy memories there I want to go back to Schindlerhof every time! The hotel's atmosphere and surroundings are modern, idyllic and tranquil, and the 'unvergESSliche' restaurant serves the world's best food and barbecue food of very high quality. Can recommend a night in a Ryokan room by the beautiful Japanese garden. Take me back <3

Due to the traffic queue, we unfortunately did not reach the hotel until after the restaurant had closed. However, this was not the hotel's fault, and they really tried to give us a boost by serving a glass of beer/wine on the house and delicious salty pretzels as a snack. And also, there was a cute cat walking around the restaurant's lovely outdoor area. So the negative was all in all turned into a very pleasant experience anyway.

The staff are just incredible! From the moment we reached the hotel till we left they were so friendly ? On the phone, Tina & Jana have already been so engaged and gave us different options. They surprisingly upgraded our ryokan room to a suite for no extra cost. It was super clean, cosy, had an amazing view on the pond as well as a relaxing bathtub. The food was scrumptious ? Rosina brought us a chocolate dessert for breakfast that was just mouthwatering! A lot of the food is organic quality, they have vegan options and you immediately feel comfortable within the restaurants design. I've stayed at 5* hotels before, but this place definitely exceeds that already!

Always good place. Location in between Nuernberg and Erlangen. Close to Airport.Breakfast is good, since the restaurant is very high level.

Hotel room itself on ground floor was dark. Air conditioning unit not working. Opening windows brought in mosquitoes. Walk-in shower but hand held only.

Great decoration, calm and relaxing. Very good breakfast, cosy dinner restaurant.

Excellent service, aesthetics and restaurant in this little Japanese style guesthouse on the outskirts of Nuremberg. The location is not an issue if you are not stopping in Nuremberg.

It’s too far from Nuremberg city.
