- Didn’t know there was a slide so that made the stay more fun! Breakfast was good also. Plenty to choose from .. staff was friendly and love the noon check out
- The pool was wonderful. We enjoyed the large slide.

- I was very disappointed with my stay! I booked 3 nights to celebrate Christmas in Galena with my family. There are six of us, and when I made the reservation, I requested rooms next to each other or at least close together. However, upon check-in on our first day, the front desk tried to separate our group, placing three of us on the first floor and the other three on the second floor. This was frustrating and disappointing. Our check-in took much longer than expected because I had to convince the front desk to accommodate our family and keep us close together. The biggest disappointment happened on Christmas Day, which was our second day. I understand that many places in Galena are closed on Christmas, including stores, restaurants, and even Walmart and McDonald. My family and I fully understood this and accepted it. Because of this, we decided to leave the hotel on December 25, even though we still had one night remaining. Before leaving, I spoke with the front desk and explained that we were checking out early and requested a refund for the unused night through Booking.com. Front desk staff assured me that they would inform the hotel manager. I also contacted Booking.com before leaving the hotel, and they understood my situation and agreed to assist. However, they needed confirmation from the hotel management to process the refund.Days and weeks passed with no response. I repeatedly tried calling the hotel almost every week, but I never received a callback from the manager. Booking.com also confirmed that they reached out multiple times, but the hotel management never responded to their emails either. As of January 23, I still have not received any response, feedback, or resolution from the hotel management. This lack of communication and accountability is extremely disappointing and unacceptable. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel, especially if you are traveling with family or expect proper customer service after your stay.
