We were very lucky to have been "upgraded" from the Gibson suite in the manor to a holiday villa. Having stayed in the Gibson suite previously, we were very pleased with the villa... Spacious, clean, and well equipped, it provided everything we needed for our stay and more. Villas can easily accommodate 6 people, which was fine with only 4 in our party. Also a lot warmer than the Gibson suite, with heaters in every room. The grounds of the site themselves are very scenic and picturesque, with a lake and bubbling waterfall running through the park. From memory, the Gibson suite itself is also great to stay in, but not as spacious.

Please note that bookings for this are made through [Link Redacted] not [Link Redacted] and there are a number of details incorrect about the facilities description: - WiFi is NOT free. It is chargeable per device and can cost up to £4.20 per day. There is a pub nearby that has free WiFi, but this isn't ideal in this day and age. - There was no hairdryer (at least that we could find) - The site expect you to pay for electricity. This is not noted anywhere on the [Link Redacted] details but is detailed when you get to site. In addition, depending on what accommodation you are allocated, it's not always possible to check what the meter reading is (unless you have your own meter box key). No staff or welcome on arrival. Keys are picked up from a box. Not a problem for us, but it is possible to go through your whole stay without seeing anyone on site. Really only effects people who like a personal touch. Facilities in the accommodation was functional but not new - dishwasher, washing machine and wall heaters looked quite old. However, overall decor internally was fine and attractive. Finally, worth saying that this is effectively a holiday site, so not all facilities were open out of season (we visited in Feb).
