I loved the size of the room and they have a room to store your bicycle

It was expensive.

I like the hotel's decor and antiques. The breakfast is tasty and plentiful, and the facilities and rooms are spacious. The reception staff is very friendly.

The bathrooms of the rooms need renovation, they are very old and the laminate flooring has damage and some are coming off

Looks like a museum. That gives a character.

The rooms are quite old and lacks all kinds of facilities. Simply there are none. Bathroom is also old fashioned, but very large. WC looked very dirty. Beds were too soft, not to average persons taste, I believe. It's difficult to judge cleanless since everything looks old. Breakfast was ok.

The room was great! It was large, warm and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was really good and the staff were friendly and efficient. Excellent service.

The hairdryer did not work in the bathroom, which was a bit of a shame as I had already washed my hair by the time I realised it was not working. The did not sent up a replacement when I requested it from the reception unfortunately.

Hotel charged different (higher) rate than agreed. Not flexible when changing reservation.Result: early checkout. Dissatisfied.

Big room for the 3 of us, 2 adults and 1 child.

De temperature in the room was to hot, even with the window open (november). If i would have stayed longer than one night, i would have said something about it.

Amazing interior, super staff, the location is excellent, the best service.

The hotel was a nice surprise. It is a misture of hotel and museum/exposition. Very cool old things and media spread all ove its premisses, expect for the rooms. Breakfast was complete with many options. The bar was very nice too.

The room was a disabled persons adapted room. The fact that you do not have a curtain in the shower makes you wet all bathroom floor. It could be better.

Only a few km from the highway and 20 km from Amsterdam, which can be reached by bus (the stop is 500 m from the hotel). Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Silence. Extremely friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and the atmosphere of the hotel are absolutely unique. It is hard to find a better offer in the Amsterdam area.

My room was under the roof, right next to the road. It was quite warm but leaving the window open wasn't an option because somehow the noise from the not-so-busy road wouldnt allow me to sleep.The curtains let too much light in for me to sleep.I was there on a Friday night, the hotel was packed, my room was next to the stairs and I got woken up several times by other guests stomping up the stairs and then letting their door slam shut.Also, I thought I'd be able to find some dinner there, but there was only a (rather expensive) buffet with nothing on it that I would have wanted to eat (and I'm not really a difficult eater, but it really reminded me of camp or hospital food). The village has several dinner options, though, plus a supermarket with lovely salads and bread.At breakfast, there was a very long queue I couldn't wait for. Staff were helpful but I couldn't go pick what I wanted and the croissants they gave me turned out to be the kind you buy in big packs at Aldi or Lidl, so a bit disappointing.Saturday night, by contrast, was quieter, I managed to sleep, and breakfast the next morning was also nice. I found proper bread :)Some non-dairy milk and some real butter in stead of margarine would have been nice though ;)All in all, I'd go back to discover more, but perhaps not in the peak season.

Awesome place with lots to see. Massive room with huge balcony. De Rijp is a pretty little town with lots of very high quality restaurants

Good location, plenty of free parking. Huge room & bathroom, perfect for anyone with mobility issues. Breakfast buffet is part of the price. Only buffet is available (€21,50 per person) for dinner. Perfect for those with kids as the hotel is on a farm. Lots of walking is possible. Town center is a about 20 min by walk. Friendly staff. The hotel has a lot of items collected by the owner over many decades, looks like a museum. Cozy terrace. Good place to relax.

No coffee machine or kettle in the room. Not a deal breaker as there is a bar. No Aircon but a ceiling fan makes the room reasonably pleasant. Breakfast, Dinner and the bar are available in the main building (#1), in case you are in Building 2 or 3, it's a few minutes walk.

Bedrooms were basic but comfortable but that's all we required. However the public areas were something else. So many amazing artifacts it was like a museum of the past. Owner of hotel was lovely and happy to talk about her Hotel. Rest of staff were friendly. if I ever have friends or family going to the area I would definitely recommend this hotel. So lovely to see treasures from the past being preserved.

The mattress on bed was was a little soft for my liking but that's only my opinion.

All good, big rooms, big toilet, parking before, a lot of historic toys and other things like museum, bar and great people. When I'm there, I'll choose it again ?

Service was exceptional, we were having issues finding a hotel that was open, but the staff was extremely nice and accomodating despite the late hour. We actually booked a bit too late, but they made an exception and checked us in anyways, despite their shift having already ended.

Quite an unusual place, like a collector's house, with different objects spread all over the place. Very quiet area with beautiful landscapes.

All the curiosity in the hotel. Mechanical old things, the old advertisements everywhere.

clean, friendly and quirky. good food and very comfortable bed. the triple room was excellent value
