EVERYONE was so nice and ready to help in any way possible but Jermain, Lindell, and O'Neil were my favorite people I've ever met! We are already thinking about the next time we can come here, truly amazing place.

I didn't like that I have to go home to the cold and snow!

This was our first time at an all-inclusive and this resort really set the bar. We booked this location for the honeymoon based on cost/duration of our honeymoon, nonstop flights and reviews of the place itself (food, service). We ended up booking an 8 night stay in November overlapping with the Thanksgiving Holiday to maximize our time off. Upon arrival, the staff was so welcoming with rum punch while our room was getting prepared for us. A staff member helped bring our bags to our room and showed us how to open all the doorways in our room. The bathroom/shower had a door that opened onto the balcony as well as the bedroom with latches to hold them open outside. Our room also had a hammock on the balcony that the staff member showed us how to set up. We compared this resort with a few others on the island and one thing that really stood out in reviews was the food at Rafter's. And ...the food was SO good. I was worried about my husband since he has allergies to nuts/shellfish but the staff was very accommodating and acknowledged his allergy at every meal. He was always able to find something to eat and it didn't always have to be a burger which is what I was afraid of. The menus varied every day we were there. Some of our favorite dishes were the fish cakes, goat curry, antiguan soups (like all of them), and the antiguan jerk chicken. All meals had a 2 hour time block at rafters. Breakfast from 730-930, lunch from 1230-230 and Dinner from 630-830. We were told everyday at breakfast to book a reservation time for lunch and dinner. However, you could arrive earlier or later than your reservation and they wouldnt turn you away. The bar opened everyday at 10am. There was also a coffee shop that had a mini gift shop in it. Coffee, pastries and smoothies were included in your stay (all coffee types). The coffee shop opened earlier than breakfast but smoothies started at 1030. We spent most of our time at the beach. How could you not?

We did not end up using any of their extras, honestly we thought the extras were a little pricey for what they were compared to doing excursions/massages with a 3rd party.

Amazing views, location is amazing.

Lack of things to do. Lack of food options. Room was fair- we got the suite with plunge pool. But it’s just a room with a small deck and pool. Outside area had no sun- our cottage was covered by a roof- which was unfortunate because we weren’t able to tan and use our pool. Pool was very cold- which would be nice if we could be in the sun prior to use. We were in seagrape the first cottage in the row of cottages. There was no alcohol in the room- which I foundvery strange as its an all inclusive- and normally alocohol is found in room. Snacks were also not provided in the rooms. I felt that by booking through booking.com we got the lower end room of the “suite” options.There is no option for grab and go food. they have a coffee shop where you can get pastries. And a little cottage by the beach where we can get Panini‘s, but they close at five (or maybe 6). Also, when you order a Panini by the Sunset pool, they wrap it in aluminum foil, heat it up and then slice the Panini in half which causes tiny pieces of aluminum to be in your sandwich so be mindful if you get those. Food at the restaurant was OK, nothing stood out to me. Some of the items are good like the sushi appetizer, but they gave you three tiny pieces of it. I saw some people taking food to go wrapped in saran wrap however I wasn’t sure if that was an additional charge or not. No one ever mentioned it to us when we arrived. They offer supplemental options during dinner that you can pay extra for- unless you get a package. We did not have to pay extra but those supplemental options do not change daily. The steak was good however, the shrimp option was just five small pieces of shrimp on a kebab.Overall, the facilities are nice, but it’s really the view that saves them. The views are so breath taking- and everywhere you go you see the mountains and ocean.No one seemed to go above and beyond, at least for us on this trip.

The food was incredible, so fresh and flavorful. The views are amazing- the pictures don’t do it justice. Kemlin at concierge was super helpful in booking a fishing trip and a private boat tour. I would highly recommend this resort. It’s quiet and low key - perfect for relaxation.

Location and property is beautiful and quaint. The water colour is the most beautiful. The pools and beach are very nice and the easiness of the property is welcoming

The beds in the cottages were very uncomfortable including the bedding. The lighting was very dark at night. The air conditioning was either too cold or not enough to keep you comfortable at night. The pool is not heated and in a location where the sun can’t possibly warm the water so we hardly used it.

An absolutely stunning resort, the food and cocktails were exceptional and the staff clearly love working here, always with a smile and a cheery hello! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful week at CocoBay! The resort was beautiful and the view from our room was amazing. The staff were all attentive and friendly. We also really enjoyed the food. We hope to return in the future!

The lounge chairs on the beach and at the sunset pool were not very comfortable. We loved everything else about CocoBay!

Allowing guests to reserve sun beds and not use them for several hours. Would be better if you get one when you want one.

We enjoyed mostly everything. The food was delicious and there wasn’t a meal we had that we didn’t enjoy. We had a great view of the sea and could enjoy it from our private pool on the deck. The room was secluded and although the cottages were close, there was a lot of foliage that kept it private. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed drinks from all bartenders, especially D Rock.

We are not morning people, especially on vacation. Did not like that there wasn’t room service for any meal. They delivered morning coffee but no breakfast. Also, if you miss breakfast or lunch, your options are limited to two choices of panini sandwiches. We weren’t told, but if you want your mini fridge refilled, you have to ask. There is also minimal help at the front desk.

Lovely setting with two pools and a beach, fantastic view from our room’s balcony. I love the architecture, true to the island’s colonial heritage, not a cookie-cutter modern style that means you could be anywhere. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. There is one restaurant but the food is good, decent variety. The price is significantly lower than other all-inclusive on the island.

The menu did give variety but not as much as other much larger places with multiple restaurants, but it was still well worth it.

Cocobay Antigua is a truly unique resort with stunning views of the sea, beautiful pools, friendly staff, and excellent food. We stayed at Cocobay for three days in a Deluxe Cottage located on the edge of the property. Our cottage had a lovely view of the sea and was quiet and serene during the day.The resort features two pools: an infinity pool by the main dining area and the Sunset Pool, which is closer to the resort’s beach (Ffryes Beach). We preferred the infinity pool for its incredible view of the sea, mountains, and Valley Church Beach.Guests have direct access to Ffryes Beach, which offers calm, turquoise waters and a very tranquil vibe. We were able to snorkel there and spotted tons of yellowtail blue damselfish. Cocobay guests can also access Valley Church Beach either by kayak or via a 10-minute walk along a dirt road behind the resort. Valley Church Beach was even more beautiful than Ffryes Beach, although it occasionally had an odor due to nearby mangroves.The food at Cocobay was definitely a step above what you'd expect at a typical all-inclusive resort. Guests can order from a rotating menu of appetizers, entrées, and desserts for each meal.

Sleeping in our cottage was a bit difficult at times due to frogs that began chirping loudly around 3–4 a.m. Additionally, all of the resort’s common areas are open to the elements, meaning there’s no air conditioning in the main dining area, café, or other shared spaces. This made some meals uncomfortable due to the heat and the presence of flies.

The views were absolutely breathtaking! The private cottages were peaceful and romantic, perfect for a couples’ getaway. The staff was warm, attentive, and always made us feel special. We loved the open-air dining, beach access, and the calm, adults-only atmosphere.

The only downside was the limited food options— we wished for a bit more time during the day to be able to snack. Also, the Wi-Fi was spotty or not working in some areas of the resort.

Would have preferred more West Indian varieties like Cocos resort has.

More variety of local offerings. Hard to beat Cocos Resort on the food. I'd rate Cocobay as 8/10 but CoCos is 10/10 on the room and food. Cocobay is 10/10 on the grounds, pool, coffee shop.

The resort was small, quiet, and very relaxing. Although the food portions were on the smaller side, the staff is very accommodating, sweet, and made the experience exceptional. It was our first time in Antigua and definitely want to go back due to the positive experience at the resort.

Food selection was limiting. LIghting and the numbering conventions for the cottages could have been better. If it were an older couple, they would have difficulty seeing as it wasn't the best lighted around the cottages. It's super bug-gy, so bring bug spray as we get super bit up by mosquitoes.

It was very environmentally friendly. No plastic water bottles. They provided metal bottles for each person to keep. They used recycled and clean products. Food was exceptional, vegetarian friendly and healthy.

The mattress was not firm. It was soft in the middle and sinking in.

We didnt get the room with the view that we had booked, so that put a bit of a dampener on our trip. I will liaise with you separately on this at Booking.comVery remote so you are in the resort and not really able to go anywhere other than the hotel beach.

We had an amazing time! Very quiet, intimate and relaxing… At first when we arrived i was extremely unhappy with the room placement but they assured me of my concerns right away and placed us in a great room! The food was great but i did wish they gave more options and more authentic food at the restaurant.

Lovely upper pool with fantastic view, but often full. Sheer Rocks restaurant was a great bonus, right there in the hotel!Cocktails nice and strong.Good to have an option of panini's if you didn't feel like going to the same restaurant three times a day.A la carte menu in the restaurant had good options, although it was a bit hit and miss.Concierge service was a great help with booking taxis etc.Coffee bar was nice with a little shop and sweet treats.

Almost non existent WiFi which we raised multiple times and didn't get resolved - it was blamed on the weather...When the upper pool was full (people seemed to run and reserve sunbeds by putting a towel on before breakfast...), the lower pool is a good second option other than the beach, but it had an awful smell and felt a bit dirty. Only one restaurant option, so wouldn't stay here for longer than a week. Also only one beach - I thought it would have access to both sides but no.I'd definitely hire a car if you're staying for longer than a few days as you might get cabin fever and there's not much within a walkable distance.Though not the hotels fault, the clientele was quite rowdy with big groups, often taking over areas and playing their own music which competed with the hotels music.
