3PM COULD HARDLY CHECK IN

it is only one mile up the hill to Oeiras to catch the train to Lisbon, so you get your exercise from the start.

I booked a room with a double bed but the hotel does not have double beds, only single beds. There is no Wi-Fi anywhere except in the restaurant, which is at least 300 ft from the closest room and closes at 10 PM, so no internet even then.

Gardens in MAJOR UNKEPT SITUATION... Where there was supposed to be grass there's only barren dirt.Concrete walkways in the garden areas are badly CRACKED... A VERY DANGEROUS situation for people with disabilities, like me.First night couldn't sleep at because the AC did NOT work & was not fixed until next day

The place is spacious, and close to the ocean.

I waited more than half an hour for check-in. There was no wifi in the room. Some members of the stuff were not polite nor willing to help with some questions. (Some of them were nice, one guy, and one older lady). One day, the breakfast was late for more than 15 minutes, and it already starts late (at 7.30), which may be a problem if you have a morning meeting, for example.

Loved the car port at the back of the chalet making it easy to unload luggage and come & go. The swimming pool is gorgeous - just for Guests. Glass doors open out to a small terrace to sit outside. They have security at night - l it was quiet and peaceful.

The gardens by the terraces were unkempt - save water yes but-it could have been tidied and cut back.Bathroom was clean - but shower needs an update.

Location. Very nice near the ocean and the beach walks.

The room itself, bed wasn't comfortable bugs in the room the whole time paths in the compound itself all battered.

They sent me a message saying they will check me in at 14:00, but when I came, they declined and I had to wait. Also, it took 1 hour for Paula to do the check in for me only because she couldn't find my country code.Only a few staff persons speak english, but poorly.Food was cold.The wi-fi connection in my room was very good.

Pleasant stay, friendly staff. The room is cozy, clean, and warm (in winter in Portugal it really matters). The hotel has its own territory, so it's quiet at night and feels safe. Also, there is free parking right to your apartment door. Included breakfast is a nice option and the restaurant has a good view of the river. Sunrise view ?

Breakfast was excellent with a large selection. Unfortunately, I only slept 2 of the 5 nights as I spent 3 of the 5 nights in Porto with friends. Didn't know I would be doing that when I booked in May.

At age 82, I would have preferred a room closer to the office as the wifi didn't work in room 36 so I had to walk down to the office to use my computer.

Great location & great restaurant

The bathroom is covered with a mold. Lot of dust and spider webs. Dirty walls. Smell out of sewage is disasterus in the evening.

Close to the office area that i planned to go. Breakfast was very good. They managed to start breakfast earlier at 07:30 which was perfect for my daily schedule. Rooms are of good size

In my room there was some traces of humidity. Refrigerator was not cooling

Room smelt of damp and there was mold on the walls and ceiling. WiFi was on/off and the mobile signal was very weak. Shower had trickle pressure. Grounds and rooms (at least my room) need a lot of maintenance work.

Very good location and even better view for the marina and the river/sea, which was great to wake up with the sun and enjoy the sunlight in the balcony.The breakfast included was nice.I liked the fact we can have our car parked exactly in front of the room, which helps with suitcases.

The check-in could be nicer, more welcoming and discrete to the fact that the rest of the hosts don't need to listen which exact room we were staying in.They could have more breakfast options at 10:00 am, even if they end their service by 10:30. They could close the doors to the kitchen, because we don't need to hear the constant noise of plates getting clean. Some AC could be nice in the room during sunny days.
