The Village at Palisades Tahoe

Our room was in a fantastic location, but it was not clean and was falling apart.

I loved the front desk staff. They were very friendly and helped with all of our questions and needs. The ski lockers were very convenient. The underground parking was perfect.

Nice room. Shops and restaurants throughout the village. Beware of additional $56 hotel charges at checkout.

The a/c unit didn't cool the room and it was loud! The infloor heat in the bathroom was on and couldn't shut it off. The hotel charged $30 for "incidentals" at check in and then charged an additional $26.08 at check out for additional hotel fees.

The portable AC was unplugged and far from the socket. One desk lamp was unplugged. One desk lamp was missing a bulb.

This was a beautiful hotel- the accommodations we¿re comfortable and it was in a great location!

Some of the cooking utensils in the kitchen were older and difficult to cook with but this really wasn¿t a big issue whatsoever! It was a great stay and we will return!

Location was great. Close enough to west shore activities, and situated in its own beautiful valley.

The reception was pretty cold upon arrival. We seemed to be putting the gentlemen out by checking in. Also, our second night of the stay their was a group of people partying in the parking lot, loud music, yelling, and spinning donuts until about 4AM.

The suite was great but noisy and no ac. I loved the room itself and fans did help but a little AC would be better. The music needs to be moved elsewhere! Loved the hiking and scenery.

It was close to many options for food and shopping, but everything was closed.

The parking garage was closed, the food/shops/ activity centers and hot tubs, literally everything was closed. The bedding also felt like cardboard.

The view was gorgeous and beautiful. However, it's a little out of the way if someone prefer not to be at the center of action or near the crowd.

Location

The unit we stayed in was extremely uncomfortable. The air conditioning was insufficient, archaic, and extremely loud. When we asked to be moved to another room with better AC, we were told "consider yourself lucky to even have an AC in your room".

Overall it was a great experience and the staff were very friendly, the location was awesome, and the free upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite was much appreciated.

Spacious rooms. Fully stocked kitchen. Heated bathroom floors. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Location is not far from activities.

Nothing I didn't like

Spacious room, full kitchen and the balcony. Staff was professional and attentive. I asked for additional coffee packets and they were delivered very promptly. Underground parking was a plus.

There were no drawers for our clothes. Thus we needed to hang clothes but there were only six hangers total. I put my clothes in the nightstand. Some furniture items were quite worn. Resort fee should have been waived due to closed gym and spa tubs.

Lobby area is nice but when we got to the room it was a let down. The room smelled very bad and everything was very out dated.

The location was perfectly located over the Village main entrance with a balcony view of the mountains on to the right and left. The room was more like a condo at 625 square feet with a full kitchen and we took full advantage.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel room was spacious and in an excellent location.

The parking garage is difficult to navigate but it is nice to be in a garage. The living areas were a bit warn from the recent ski season but comfortable. The rooms are a bit noisy because of the location.

The hotel seemed to be poorly maintained. During our stay, an elevator in our building developed a problem, the hot tub in our building was under renovation, and the in-room coffee maker did not work. Also, the walls were thin making the room noisy.
