Motel Montreal

Although the staff wasn’t very helpful they were kind and respectful.

Bed sheets were filthy filled with crumbs. The floors had not been vacuumed. The shower tub backed up while showering. The sink didn’t drain. There was what looked like fecal matter smeared on the wall next to the toilet.

Toilets and TV don't work Mgmt is not responsive Mgmt is rude

10 minutes before we were to arrive we got a text message that we needed to have a $50 cash deposit. Then on day two we had no hot water and the following morning no hot water and we text messaged with no reply

I had 2 rooms and 1 of the rooms had an electrical issue that we reported where the lights would randomly flicker and was told someone would come to look into it and never came. Also requested housekeeping and only received clean towels once.

The heat didn?t work for long but no complaints otherwise

Toilet not bolted down, no coffee, poor lighting and loud rooms

Lighting in room is insufficient. (2 desk lamps only.) Also, exhaust fan automatically comes on with bathroom light, making it unnecessarily loud.

The vintage but clean Adirondack atmosphere!! Do not lose that, there are plenty of lookalike chains-the Montreal fits Lake George perfectly. Many others are now gone/?renovated? the vintage thing will be hard to find -but popular.

Front desk staff rate a zero Hotel did charge the amount listed on there receipt. Receipt stated 220.28 charged with paid in full. Upon check in they wanted another 122.68 or we could not check in!

The room has a mold smell and felt very humid the whole time. Only there¿s only two lamps for the entire room, it felt hard to see things The curtain is not able to close completely

Room floor was dirty due to rain and no indoor mats to wipe shoes. Asked for room cleaning service midway through our stay and did not get it.

The room was dirty. There were spiders on the ceiling. There were ants crawling in the bathroom. The toilet was barely bolted to the floor as every time we went to use it it's like it lifted from the floor. The shower kept leaking. Not clean at all.

I liked how helpful the desk clerk was! I was very unfamiliar with the town of Lake George & thanks to his knowledge and information my daughter and I a great night. This location was pretty good, definitely walking distance to everything.

Parking was a little confusing, but it's a very small price to pay for the convenience in location. Lake George has quite a bit going on in such a small geographical area, it was pretty clear they were doing the best they can with the land they're on.

Beds were horrible. Room was dirty. BLOOD ON THE BATHROOM DOOR!

Great rate for a really nice room. The location is perfect - so close to the lake. The lady at the front desk couldn't have been any nicer and went out of her way to leave my room unlocked as the office closed quite early (9pm).

It is a minor thing but there was a clearance issue upon exit as I had a kayak on the roof of my car. Not really a problem - I just reversed out the way I came in but something to note if you have anything on top of your vehicle.

500 feet from the lake. Walking dostance to the village. Friendly/helpful staff. Very accommodating.

No bath, only shower.

Was a nice walk down main strip to eateries and see the lake, pool was not bad

Rooms really need renovating and the bed was not comfortable at all, I felt the springs, been on sofabeds even more comfortable. You get what you pay for.

The hotel waa close to the town

The hotel was approximately 15 mins away from the town. The room is quite small and there is only one bed And small tv. Dont book a reservation, just go there and book a room. Alot cheaper. Ipaid --- night compare to ---$ a couple paid without reservation

great location.friendly staff.Reasonable rate for this 2 star motel.Housekeepers knows how to do their job.Cleanliness is their priority I guess.

Front of the motel is quite old, needs work and updating.
