Very clean. Room was small but well designed with a very good bathroom. Silent air con. The swimming pool is 5 star located in a lovely garden.

The hotel is impeccably run so their is nothing not to like.

Beautiful castle not far from Sarlat la Caneda. We love the place where it is located. It has a swimming pool and it was great to chill there when the temperature was almost 40 degrees. It’s very quiet and the room was comfortable.

The windows had the old metal blinds, so to sleep well wasn’t possible. The light in the morning Came in. The mattress and the pillow were not comfortable. The air conditioner didn’t work well, may be because of the heat. But the most inconvenient and strange were the persons who worked in the hotel. First of all, in the letter from the hotel in Booking messenger we got the information where they informed us if we wouldn’t respond to their letter and if we were going to arrive later than 18.00 they will Resale!!! Our room to another person! Just imagine! This case! If any person would missed the letter and wouldn’t respond it -they threatened to resale it in spite of the fact that the room was already payed! Another horrible thing - we had left the room in the morning and had left the plaque Do not disturb. When we returned we found that someone had entered and had made the bed, touched our things. How is it possible, just how could it be? No privacy at all! And finally when we were leaving the hotel at check out the only thing that the woman at reception told us in French -6 Euros. That’s it! Nothing more! Only this. We had to pay the taxes, and that’s ok with us, of course! But usually on reception in a good hotels they wish you a good trip and say something like thank you for your visit . And [Link Redacted] in this hotel they didn’t like to do it.. So I think that the most important problem in this hotel is with stuff who works there . They really should learn the norms and rules of hospitality. And everything will be good .
