The restaurant is very good (normal prices for Switzerland, it's simply a very expensive country)

The dinner was incredible: beautifully plated meals, delicious, traditional food. Worth the stop. We felt comfortable at the hotel, the room was spacious enough. A great stopover point on our road trip. The spa was a nice bonus even if the hot tub was out of service.

Not a lot of food options in the area, so we were kind of stuck there for dinner and breakfast. Not a problem though because the food was delicious. The hot tub was out of service which was disappointing. The hammam smelled a bit weird.

For being in such a remote area, the place offered a descent place to sleep and comfortable accommodations with a very good restaurant.

Good food in the restaurant. Room wasn't fancy but was clean , comfortable and had all amenities one might expect...coffee, toiletries .

Quaint hotel. Comfortable room. Good double bed. Location excellent on Via Francigena. Restaurant is good. Kettle in room which was fantastic.

I had a lovely lunch and there was a vegetarian pasta dish. Unfortunately,my choice for dinner was a salad or the same pasta dish. I made the suggestion that one or two vegetarian dishes be on offer as I would really have liked a hot meal. There were no curtains or blinds on my bedroom window. There was a plant box outside giving a little coverage.

The Spa was fantastic, especially after a long hiking day. Dinner and breakfast were good as well, and the room was comfortable and clean.

Location was great for Bernard Pass, walking and outdoor activities. Sauna and spa area well done. Obviously currently undergoing refurbishment.

The spa was simple but nice and the quality of the food at dinner was excellent. The location was good with very nice views and access to trails. It just happen to be on our route and worked out.

The room was very old and in need of updating. The pillows were terrible. A bit over priced from the perspective of the cost of a hotel room.

Convenient for our walking of the Via Francigena. A popular place with travellers and locals. The restaurant was very adequate and the food well presented and tasty. Great location.

The hotel is going through a refurbishment and although our room was a bit dated in decor and facilities, it was adequate for us. Any refurbishment is disruptive and can be inconvenient but I wish the owners all the luck in the world because when complete I'm certain it will be even more popular than it is now if that's possible.
