All of the other properties took the payment for the room prior to arrival so when I went to pay on our departure no one was there to pay (we had a ferry to catch so had to leave at 6am) but I received an email chasing a payment I was happy to pay for

This was my second time at the hotel. The first one a friend of me brought me there for having lunch and the experience was great and their cuisine surprised me a lot. The hotel is quite clean, comfortable and located in a nice and silent countryside by the river.

Horrible receptionist who was quite arrogant and not helpful at all. Will never go there again. No restaurant, lousy continental breakfast.

We only stayed one night, not enough to fully enjoy the stay, but the food was very nice. Plus, we had to leave very early in the morning, but they were very helpful with check-out the night before. Very nice people.

Breakfast excellent .

Pillows a joke. One tiny flat pillow, that was really uncomfortable. Not really a pillow at all. No neck support. No spares in cupboard

Our room was small, but it adequately met our needs. The view over the river was gorgeous and the breakfast was excellent. One thing I really appreciated that I haven't seen in many German hotels was a sliding glass door on the shower so water did not spray all over the entire bathroom. There was also a safety handle attached to the wall. This should be required in all showers, but unfortunately it does not seem to be common. I was thankful this hotel installed one.

Clean, good location, close to a park, nice view from the balcony (lake, park).

The room was very very small... we asked for a child bed, the first one they brought in didn't even fit in the room, so they brought another one, smaller. The room was so small that two people could walk in the space left between the bed and the center of the room. We asked for a bigger room and we were told it's not possible since they are booked out.

The location was great and the staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful.

Everything was clean and very well kept. The guy that checked us in to our room was super friendly and nice.
