Pros +

• I've stayed at this hotel before - it's very well situated in the centre of Plovdiv. The rooms are large and the beds are really comfortable.
• The hotel is small but acceptable. It met my expectations for the price. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, which made for a reasonable night's rest. However, there was an issue with the payment that the staff did not attempt to resolve, which left a negative impression. Although I did not use any amenities or try the food, I did notice that the folk music from the restaurant next door could be heard throughout the hotel. This might be a problem for light sleepers. That said, considering the low price, the overall value was very good. If you are not expecting luxury and simply need a budget stay, it serves its purpose. Personally, I am unlikely to return, but it may suit others looking for affordable accommodation with modest expectations.
• Nice and comfortable hotel centrally located in Plovdiv. A few minutes to walk to the center of things. Large and spacious room, comfortable bed. Helpful staff.

Cons -

• Although the staff were polite, they made no effort to find an alternative solution for their out-of-service card terminal. I had to walk around the neighbourhood looking for a working ATM in order to resolve an issue that was not mine to begin with. The bathtub also had a minor maintenance issue: the drain stop mechanism wasnt functioning and had to be manually removed to let the water out. As previously mentioned, the restaurant next door plays folk music loudly, which is hard to avoid hearing from anywhere in the hotel. It would have been nice to have a bit more coffee or tea provided in the room, though given the price, this was adequate.
• A chair to sit in would have been useful. Missed that a lot. The room is large, there certainly is space.
