- Room with a Mountain View and proximity to the national park
Cons -
- Pool should be several degrees warmer.
- Location was further than expected.
- Everything was great! There were some stuff we learned as we stayed that could be helpful to others to keep in mind when planning for this trip! We were there during late December and for all-inclusive- All food, drinks, and mini fridge drinks/food were free (except some specific alcohol drinks)- Must make reservation for their 2nd floor restaurant if you plan to dine there for dinner- Filtered water fountains are available everywhere throughout the hotel- You must reserve the lunchboxes the day before (earliest pick up is 5am) - You can also reserve breakfast boxes the day before (if you are heading out early for a hike)- Make reservations with the Massif ahead of time since most expeditions are fully booked during peak season. They do get last minute cancellations and open spots though so always go ask. This is how we got our French Valley expedition spots. - Some expeditions get cancelled unfortunately if the wind condition is very bad (Patagonia summer wind is CRAZY - cars get blown away)- Very difficult to reschedule an expedition during peak season- They do request tip after meals and you sign the receipt - this is all paid together at check-out (they keep all the receipts and they present to you during check-out) - Serrano Village is STILL 1.5 hours away from TDP entrance (same distance from Puerto Natales to TDP entrance) but you drive through the park and get to see all the waterfalls and lakes; it is closer to the Catamaran pick-up site though (about 40 min drive)

Room with a Mountain View and proximity to the national park
My friend and I stayed at Rio Serrano during peak season and opted for the all-inclusive option. It was a magical (and luxurious) stay! We did not get the view of the mountains in our room, but we got to see the horses and cows in the field. You get to see the mountain view everywhere else in the hotel, especially while eating in their restaurants so this was not a big deal for us. The room was average sized for 2 twin beds. We were greeted with chocolates and tea in our room as a welcome gift. The food in both restaurants were amazing as well as their boxed lunch which we took with us during our hiking days. Must try their smoked lamb when they have small bites available in the lobby - probably the best lamb I have ever tried. The swimming pool and sauna was nice and we spent some time bathing in the sunshine near the window as well. We also used their expedition agency called The Massif for Horse Riding and the French Valley hiking expedition, and met the best guides in both expeditions and had a lot of fun. They offer transfers to/from Puerto Natales and El Calafate and many half-day to full-day expeditions. Yes, the stay was expensive but it was well worthwhile especially when you are looking to treat yourself after long day hikes.

Location close to the park , decor and service
Pool And Spa a bit crowded , wish pool opening time was longer
The location is exquisite. Beautiful views fo the Massif from dining areas, lobby, and mountain view rooms. Minutes from the park entrance with many trails to explore on the property itself.
Nothing!
The staff are wonderful - fun, kind, helpful and welcoming. The property is beautiful in both location and also amenities.
It’s a bit pricey for what you get. Had a room on the third floor and did not have a window, but more like a skylight and the bathroom had a funky smell. There are other options in the area that are absolutely lovely and cost much less.
Food was very mediocre. Insufficient vegetarian options. Breakfast was not great and did not give a good start to the day.
The daily rate is too expensive and in hindsight not worth it for the amenities and food.
The views, the amenities, the service, the property, the pool the surrounding! Amazing place!
The property is absolutely amazing and staff were so nice and helpful throughout. Food was fantastic, and we really enjoyed the horseback riding. Had one of the best massages of my life, and the pool is fantastic.
It would be a bit better if they hired more staff since food service can we slow at times.
Absolutely the best view you can have in Chilean PatagoniaFood was at the Michalin star levelFriendly stuffIt's an expensive option but it gives you the value you're paying for
Everyone was friendly, great food & awesome view!!!
The sink in the bathroom was really high and being only 60” tall made it tough to use.
The property has one of the best views of Torres del Paine. It is quite, offers great views and less than 5 minutes from the park entrance.
Everyone and everything was wonderful! I do wish the bathrooms were updated with nicer water pressure, but it was clean and we honestly managed perfectly fine.
The hotel is beautiful. The food and service are excellent. The views are fantastic. The price per night is high (we stayed between Christmas and New Year's), but you get every penny back in service, food, drinks, attention, experience, etc.
Hotel location pool
Rooms food and service
A) fantastic locationB) good restaurantC) very friendly staff
A) the gym was small and poorly equipedB) the person who was supposed to help for the reservations of the activities was ineffective (several days to answer, never pick up the phone...).
Spectacular view; spacious and comfortable room; excellent staff; excellent information and trips to the park from the Massif staff; restaurants offered good food at convenient times.
The hotel is on the southern boundary of the park and it takes an hour drive to get to the main entrance. If you are driving to the hotel the road is gravel and very bumpy. Fill up with gasoline or diesel whenever you can because there is no fuel available anywhere in the park. We bought 10 L from the hotel at an inflated price, but it allowed us to drive to Puerto Natales without worrying about running out of gas.
Beautiful location just outside the park entrance. Views from the rooms facing the mountains are breathtaking. General feeling of the luxury place.
The price is a bit steep, but the reason is obvious. It's not exactly overpriced, especially for such a remote location. You get what you pay for.
The food is excellent all around. The staff is very helpful and corteous. Be careful when choosing a room. Some have incredible views, but the rooms on the 4th floor only have skylights and no windows, which is frustrating when the scenery is so beautiful. The spa is fantastic.
The rooms on the fourth floor are a disappointment because of their lack of a window to appreciate the stunning views. They only hwve a skylight.
Incredible views from the hotel and wonderful staff
Have to eat and drink a lot to justify full board but the food and drinks are excellent so it is possible
