JR-East Hotel Mets Kamakura Ofuna

Great location and next to shopping and restaurants. Just 15 mins to Yokohama and Kamakura. Room was spacious for two people, nice shower and tub.

The location is one minute on foot from the JR and Shonan Monorail stations. It’s a hub for other major locations including Kamakura, Yokohama, and Tokyo.

The restaurant in the hotel is pricey and offers poor service.

The location, the staff, cleanliness, the breakfast, the room itself, everything. The best three star hotel i have stayed in Japan.

Location, nice room and amenities

A good option if you want to visit Kamakura. The hotel is right next to Ofuna station and many food options just across the street.

The proximity to the train station. It is also cheaper than staying in the main area of Kamakura. But the train station by the hotel made it very easy for us to travel to the beach side.

Rooms could be slightly bigger. I would have liked to stay longer if the room were more comfortable for 2 people.

It’s a super convenient and functional hotel close to everything.

Check in was a bit confusing but we sorted out. The room was a smaller side.

Loved staying here! The staff were so sweet and friendly, they helped store our bags and were always ready to help with anything we needed or any questions we had! The room was clean and spacious, and sound proof as it’s right at the train station. Location is great for exploring nearby towns!

Limited parking, noisy from the sound of the monorail and other trains. Pillows were too soft, staff were not friendly and check in system with the screen system is useless.

I like the close proximity to the JR station and the town center.

The hotel offers a breakfast package that is the worst I have ever had in terms of quality, quantity, and selection. The restaurant proprietor shows no interest in preparing and offering values to customers. Often, there was only one lady working to serve dozens of customers. She was unable to keep up, therefore the service suffered. This has been the most disappointing experience in Japan for me.

Discount Hotel, it was very clean and convenient

I've traveled to Japan on four separate trips, and this was my favorite hotel and location.
