THE HARBOR TERRACE

Yuhei was the consumate host and anticioared our needs before we knew them. His staff, especially Yuno, were friendly oriffessional and thoroughly accommodating. The chef and the cookjngvteam created exquisitely delicate & complex french 8 course meals, every night and even designed a soecual plate to celebrate my mom's birthday !! My wife & I left as friends and family guests, nit just hotel guests.

Nice and tranquil. Room was nice. Dinner was very good and staff accommodated for dairy allergy. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The AC vents were a little dusty and dripped on me at night while I slept.

Perfect stay here. Amazing room, amazing location and view. The sunset over a hazy Mt. Fuji was unforgettable. The rooftop pool was so peaceful. We had an amazing dinner at the on-site restaurant. The staff were so kind. We also loved nearby Kamakura.

Wonderful hotel with stunning view over the bay. We stayed in a twin room on the lower level with a beautiful balcony. The room was very spacious, well designed and equipped. The bathroom is huge with shower and big bath tub and the bed very comfortable. There is road noise when you open the windows or sit on the balcony during the day, but it gets quiet at night. Breakfast is a little DIY, we were given a box with a mix of ingredients (eggs, veg, sausage, bacon, fruit, yoghurt) and also a dough mix to put into a bread machine. Sadly our bread didn’t rise properly overnight as we must have pressed a wrong button by accident, so no bread for us in the morning. We wanted to extend our stay by an additional night, but sadly never received a response to our email inquiry or message on booking.com. We also tried to ring their phone number and couldn’t get through. This was a little disappointing. A part from that, this hotel is lovely and we had a relaxing stay.

Very high quality accommodation, very comfortable and clean great welcome gifts and the place felt very cared for a thoughtful The view is incredible being able to watch the sunset and mount Fuji in the distance was a wonderful extra . Thank you

We hadn't realised that no food was being served when we arrived we were later than planned, and there were no breakfast options at all. So we left pretty hungry The staff were fairly helpful,, but not what we'd been used since coming to Japan. I don't think the language barrier helped, so we were disappointed

The location is a bit difficult to find. But once you’re there, it’s amazing. If your budget allows, book dinner and pair with wine.

Westerners would like some bowls and wine glasses. Other than this, perfect.

An absolutely stunning view on the bay and Fuji from the room, which was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable. The dinner at the hotel was excellent- highly recommended.

The location was amazing, the staff super friendly and the dinner at the hotel was top notch!

Our stay at the harbour terrace was excellent. The room and the view are unbeatable. A great place to unwind and watch/listen to the waves go by. Hospitality is excellent. Highly recommend!

Stunning views from our room. Extremely comfortable bed, clean and modern bathroom and well equipped kitchen area.Tasting menu in the restaurant was exceptional.

The location is beautiful and the rooms are spacious. The pool on the roof is lovely. The kitchen is well appointed.

Staff were not very helpful or friendly. A few interactions that were frustrating:- We requested breakfast at 8 am for the next day and were told by front staff that they would look into it. Then in the afternoon, we asked about breakfast and were told we needed to requested it by 2 pm - even though we had requested in the morning- The concierge said he would call in a dinner reservation for us, but then he never did and never followed up with usOverall - we felt like the staff at the hotel were unfriendly and didn't want us there.There are also limited food options nearby, so recommend planning in advance to bring in food or secure reservations in town in advance.

The view and room were comfortable.

There was an unexpected charge to make up the signed. No maid service.

Wonderful location right on the beach, extremely helpful staff and a fantastic do it yourself breakfast in the privacy of one's own room.

Absolutely gorgeous view of the bay and Mount Fuji, the room was amazing (especially the bath!), and the staff was fantastic.

It was perfect in every way we didn't want to leave! The view of mt Fuji from our room was totally unexpected. The staff at the front desk, Yohei was super helpful and friendly. The hotel is a short bus ride from kamakura station via bus number 40 that runs very 15-20min. Full amenities in every room including pyjamas so you can pack light. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. We definitely want to come back, soon!
