Barriere Motor Inn-BMI

Pleasantly surprised! The room was very nice. It seems to hage been renovated recently. I appreciate how nice the front desk person was. They also were kind enough to lend us a charging cord. Only reason I gave the room 9/10 is it didn't have coffee.

The crew wasn¿t as friendly as I expected. The room heating system was difficult to regulate.

Staff member did everything she could to rectify the many issues we had with the room.

Noisy A/C Drapes were ancient and dirty. They were folded up with pins and paper clips to cover the window beside the air conditioner. Bathroom tub water was brown when first turned on. No coffee pot. No ice bucket. Room was so small!

It has a bar and resto and its near the gas station and other restos

Cleaning materials was left in the hallway overnight

Good sized room with comfortable bed.

I'm in Canada so is the hotel why did I pay in US dollars.

It was nice inside Liked the bedding compy bed but outside the yard was a bit messy broken fence

Kleenex and glasses to drink with but for the price it was fine

It has a separate bedroom in the back which was good because it was quite and had dark shades do room was dark.

It was not very clean. But bedding was clean so appreciated that.

In the photo everything looks much fresher than in reality but for $ 100 I think you can stay overnight, in general everything is quite worn out and requires updating

It was very small. Did not look like the pictures. Facilities are run down. Did the trick if you're only there to sleep. The restaurant downstairs is not open until 11:00 am, so no breakfast.

The staff were excellent and the restaurant was great with a bargain breakfast for hotel guests. The room was very quick to warm up and the beds were comfy. I expected it to be noisy with a bar downstairs but it was so quiet and I was not disturbed at all. We also stayed with our 7 year old and we were all pleasantly surprised with how much we enjoyed staying here.

It's very run down and the rooms are the smallest you'll get in Barriere, at least the one we had was.

Staff were great, except for one staff member in the bar/restaurant, ignored our table quite often and would sit and visit with other customers instead of doing her job. Loved having the back yard for the dogs!

Location and amenities

Rooms were small and cramped. Bed was pushed up to window and dead bugs were lying all over the clean white sheets. Lots of bugs. Spiders in the corners and earwigs crawling up the walls. Bathroom floor around the toilet was gross!!! Shower head was under 5 feet so had to duck to get in the water.

Location is good.

Not family friendly. Pubs are open whole night. Rooms are not spacious.

Availability when needed. Restaurant attached had great breakfast. Nice waitress. Late check in permitted which we appreciated.

Older hotel so no elevator. Beds were a little too hard for me.
