Hipwell's Motel

Toilet would not flush I dont know how they can charge 150 cash deposit, when the office is not open for early departure. How are patrons to get their deposit back.

It's old, but very clean. The people who run it are very friendly. Great water pressure in the shower. Better than a lot of more expensive places. Good amenities like coffee, microwave, fridge, wifi, cable TV

Not really

it was exactly what we needed for what we paid.

the motel was fine, the neighbors in the next room were fighting all night into the early morning, didn't get much sleep. ended around 6 AM. The shower had very little water pressure.

Fonthill seems to be a nice town. The motel is close to Welland. It offers a clean place to sleep and wash up and it was pretty quiet. That was all we were looking for.

The outside is tired looking but the room we had was basic and clean.

The staff were very courteous, helpful and accommodating. There seem to be just the two of them and appeared to be overworked and on-call 24/7. You are lucky to have them. In our opinion, they deserve a huge rise in pay!

The place is in dire need of repairs and upgrades. For example, the electrical wiring is no longer up to code. As such, it constitutes a fire hazard due to possible overloading. The door to the bathroom in #17 is damaged and will not close. No privacy!

Great price, room simple but really clean, and the bed was really comfortable. We slept very well which was the key point for us.

Basic accommodation which meets of budget conscious. Very clean room, sufficient number of hangers and had extra pillows. Owners were very welcoming. "Make your own coffee" set up and a bottle of water was provided and the fridge worked well

The sink in the bathroom had no stopper and there was no hairdryer provided. Based on the reservation, the owners knew there 2 people but only provided a single bottle of water.

Friendly staff, clean and peaceful

Close to the camp grounds where the grandkids were for the week

Outside looked run down and not well groomed. However the room was nice and clean.

Good prices, near my destination room clean and bed good.

Nothing is good to talk of this hotel. The bed was clean and that is all.

Everything is bad of this motel. AC making noise, no sound proof, people were talking outside all night and we had to crank the AC to high to drown the talk from outside, the shower is just a hole in the wall. I have never ever stayed in such a bad hotel

The Price. Clean room, sheets and towels.

This is an old hotel. There are a lot of things that are worn out or do not work. Renovations are long over due and should be done soon.

Older Motel but clean, convenient location, owners very pleasant,

The beds were extremely comfortable, and the room was very clean.

We are used to having a coffeepot in the room, and there was none. We weren't able to get access to wifi.

Not too far from Niagara Falls, not too expensive

The ants crawling all over my pizza

Staff was very friendly and helpful, willing to make our stay enjoyable. Out of town location made for a less noisey night. October stay had fewer customers so rooms were quieter. Flower beds were beautiful.

Was a bit of a drive from where we were visiting, but we knew that when we booked.

It was a small, clean room at a reasonable price. It was close to the place I was working and I have no complaints.

the only thing that was good about it was that it was close to where I needed to be for the weekend

What I didn't like was that they advertise free Wifi.....but they fail to tell you it is not in every room, it is only in rooms that are located closest to the office....very disappointing....the room didn't have a coffee maker, it had fridge & micro

Room was nicely decorated and spacious.

Pool was not available.

Very clean motel.

For the price, cannot complain.
