    Pros +

    • The location, value and the friendly staff. Having access to hire scooters, push bikes and cars was also very handy.
    • I love everything about this place will definitely come back. Is right in middle of rice field. And good home made food also the view of sunset just unwind your busy city vibe. If you in Chiangmai don’t miss this experience and retreat yourself here
    • The location, the view, the rooms.

    Cons -

    • The only minor thing was that the mattress was a little too firm for us.
    • A beautiful countryside hotel, but unfortunately not child-friendly, even though we stayed in a family room.Children are expected to maintain an unnaturally quiet level (basically not speaking, which is very difficult for normal kids), otherwise they may disturb others (because the space is small). Ironically, the noise from grass-cutting along the rice fields was much louder than children, yet nobody minded that. If the goal is to create a child-free environment, why not follow the example of some quiet hotels in Indonesia that simply do not allow children, which would truly ensure extreme quietness? There is an unfriendly, unleashed dog at the property. It growled in a threatening way, and its body language made it feel like it could attack at any moment. The owner insisted it was friendly… but we could only keep as much distance as possible.Even the small wooden huts in the fields for relaxation have surveillance cameras, which may feel safe to some but also rather unsettling. The water heater barely produces hot water. If you stay there, here’s a tip: turn the water pressure down to the lowest setting to get a little warmth. In September, for some reason, the water was quite cold.We have stayed in many places, always trying to respect local culture and support the local economy, but here we did not experience the kind of wonderful stay described in earlier reviews. We don’t expect perfection, but unfortunately the experience was not very good. — which unfortunately was not the case. That’s why we left after just one night.
    • I loved that they had a restaurant and the food was good but it took me awhile tofigure out the system on how to order; I'm not sure I ever did.

It’s been such a pleasure to stay here again, we love this treasure in the ricefields.Ying’s cooking skills are amazing. The room is spotlessly clean.

We would have liked a mosquito windowscreen in the room so we are able to sleep with open windows. For the rest we like everything.

Loved this lodging! Peaceful, quiet except the beautiful sounds of the birds and frogs in the rice fields and that is a wonderful sound. Beautiful grounds, comfortable, super hosts. The couple that owns and runs the property are great hosts. Best food I had in Thailand cooked to order. Highly recommend if you love peace and quiet and serenity.

    Loved everything

The place and the garden looks beautiful, yet we didn't had time to fully explore it. The owners was very friendly.

The location is in a country area, surrounded by beautiful rice fields, which is one of the reasons to go there.Yet, during night time, the noises from the nature outside, frogs and crickets, was too loud and we couldn't sleep.Nothing to blame the owners, which was friendly and understating, yet if one find it hard to sleep with noises he might want to reconsider this place

Everything was great, we especially appreciated the contact and hospitality from the owners and Ying is such a wonderful lady and the choice of food was top class!

    Absolutely nothing

Very friendly atmosphere. The owner and his wife makes you feel most welcome. Travelling on your own, it is nice to have people in a strange place keep a track of you.

Ying was an extraordinary cook. The breakfast and dinner meals were absolutely wonderful. She cares so much for every guest's experience and moves well beyond expectation. Thank you Ying and Pete!

From our perspective, there was nothing that could be improved upon. The grounds are beautifully kept and the surroundings were spacious. Our bungalow was welcoming and private. Our bed was super comfortable. The large bathroom had a great shower and everything we needed.
