- The staff was great. Love the woodsey quietness. The water pressure in the shower was great! It's an older place and the owner keeps it clean.

- Port in a storm
Cons -
- The room was old and worn. It smelled extremely musty. I?m sure if the room was swabbed it would test positive for meth lab
- Not really.
- The bedding was dirty blood on bottom sheet along with hair and drool. Also mold in the shower gave me a brutal allergy attack. The bed in our room was so uncomfortable I woke up every hour and pressure points hurting. I couldn't bring myself to complain

The hotel room I got was not even a 1 The first night I had to sleep in my emergency sleeping bag to keep from hypothermia. If I did not have that emergency bag I would have had to sleep in my truck with the engine running.
Excellent example of mid-century modern architecture in a motel. Large rooms. Large bathroom. Very hospitable staff who was knowledgable about the area.
Was really cold in room couldn't get heater to stay on
Very peaceful!
A little out dated decor.
It was 5 below zero. The beds only had a sheet and a bedspread. A blanket would have been really welcome.
The existing heater was inadequate at -5. We realize this was unusual weather.
Private and quiet, off the main highway. No Semi sounds.
Clean bathtub and sink and towels.
Hairs on the sheets and toilet. No USB outlet.
Clean ,affordable and Ron the owner was very helpful and friendly .
Beds were a little bit broke down but still was comfortable for a good night's rest.
Ron, the owner and manager is nice and friendly. I enjoyed talking with him and listening to his story. He works hard, and is considerate of his patrons. There is a snack/drink machine. The motel is simple, clean, and quiet, at the end of town. McCook, is a very small town.
Cedar inn name is not on the sign. But it is the only motel on the street, and has a large light up sign that says, "Motel". Not that hard to find. It can use a freshen up, brighter lights, paint job. Overall, i enjoyed my stay and would return.
Location and price
Nosies other people were slamming doors
It was clean but not fancy. The price was right. Good air conditioning.
It’s a little far away from restaurants
Quiet, clean, nice man working in office.
It was quiet
The air conditioning didn’t work and it was 100 degrees when I arrived.
The inn was tucked away from the highway, providing a quiet experience. Ron, the host, was extremely polite and welcoming. The room was comfortable and had all the necessities.
The sheets looked like they were not changed and had hair on it from previous customers and the comforter had stains.
Ron was the perfect host. Wife and I were attending her father's funeral the next day: he gave us a copy of the obituary from his newspaper. I asked if an iron was in the room and he brought one from housekeeping. Comfortable, clean, friendly and will stay there again, along with recommend.
Gosh darn it. I don't remember an ice machine. The stay was peaceful and will stay again absolutely. Zero dislikes.
They allowed dogs but charged extra. The water pressure was great
Allowing animals should come with extra cleaning but the carpet should have been replace because it wreaked of urine! Lots of long term renters there but they were friendly.
No problems at all with wi-fi. Temperature comfortable. Hot water arrives promptly at shower; strong flow from shower head, rather than a meager water-conserving dribble. Adequate lighting in room, both for working at the table and for reading in bed. About two blocks from the highway, so no problems with noise.
Several of the wall outlets were switched to the lights: so when I turned the overhead light off, my laptop stopped charging; when I turned the bathroom light off, the coffee-maker stopped working. I didn't realize this, until I came back to the room and found my laptop battery drained. The mattress was softer than I'd have liked; I prefer a rather firm one.
