Lots of eateries nearby with Macdonald's just across the road so you can something even on the middle of the night. The room was cosy and comfortable. It even comes with a desk if you are there for work. The hotel has a hot bath. Staff is very friendly and you can ask recommendations for places to visit. There is a community bus stop just outside the station for ¥180 to go around the city. The buffet breakfast spread was good.
The location is a bit far Tsuchiura Station if you are taking the train here. I had to put my bicycle in the space between the main door and lounge door as there was no storage area.
The room was quiet and clean. There was Onsen inside of the hotel to enjoy anytime. I liked the great value of breakfast (buffet style - western & Japanese). Yomiuri newspaper is available to read for free. I enjoyed the stay with above services. Staffs were professional and kind to provide the best customer service. There are many options to have dinner around the hotel.
The hotel was a bit far from the station (Tsuchiura) if you walk. But it was a great experience to walk around and see how Tsuchiura street (restaurants, people) was while heading to the hotel.
Breakfast was standard japanese style. Rice, miso soup, fish..... Location is conveniently located and staff were friendly.

Great location, seemingly new rooms which are very well laid out, with great amenities (and a good breakfasted too). Travelled up the night before from Tokyo so could ride around Kasumigaura Bay the next day. Perfect location to make an early start to a Kasumigaura Bay ride.
The pillow was too hard. Need a softer pillow for a better sleep!
