Sovrano Hotel

Very accessible to the Grand Batam mall. Easy to find food nearby. Hotel staffs were very friendly. The room i booked was small but theres a space for our muslim prayer.Water pressure is good, AC was cold. Soap and shampoo dispenser in the toilet.

No electric kettle and there were only 2 soft pillows. It would be great if they have 4 pillows.

Clean surrounding.

Not quite like this hotel stay. Towel is too dirty, no soap, no chair, room too small, no writing pad & pen, etc...

The location! You can find anything in there from food, big shopping mall, wet market, many restaurants, bakery, salon and spa, taxi stand, durian store and many more for just walking distance!

You get what you pay. Don’t expect to much from the room. If you stay here just want to sleep at night so it’s find. Better book the Deluxe room is in 18” for the room size.

Air conditioning took 3 hours to cool 18 sq metres room.

Location is the only advantage of staying there. Convenience and proximity to Grand Batam mall and A2 food court. Just next to the main entrance of hotel lobby is a K mart

The infrastructure of the rooms. Multiple thing are not working. Rooms are kinda small. Burn mark at the power point .. which is unheard of. Towel racks in the toilet is broken.

This hotel is really all about location. It’s right opposite the Grand Batam Mall, which is super handy for shopping or grabbing a bite to eat. Cafes and other food places are pretty much everywhere around. The staff are warm and welcoming, always ready to help out. The WiFi is decent enough for casual browsing, and the showers? They’re great - strong water pressure that makes for a refreshing wash. Plus, the beds are seriously comfortable, so I slept like a log until morning.

Not everything was perfect though. The shampoo dispenser in my bathroom was busted, which was a bit annoying. There were also some stains on the bedsheet - not a huge deal, but still, it’s something the hotel should look into.

Nothing much to see on TV..

The location is very good. It is close to a lot of nice eating places, and Grand Mall is across the road.

The room was smaller than expected, and there is no fridge, no cupboard, no wardrobe, no space to put luggage, no space to eat etc. Literally you enter the room and almost all the floor space is just for the bed. But the room was very clean and we had a pleasant stay.

Staff Can't speak English, charge for laundries if U dirty the pillows no cupboard to hang clothes, about 2 feet space for moving around the bed (room 316) 2 thumbs down not recommend only 1 power point in room duh duh ??‍? no proper shower space have to share with the toilet ?? very bad 4 queens room ????????

Very good location and eatery.

The bathroom toilet bowl piday spoiled and water keep on running. No hot water. Given only mineral water. No coffee or tea to drink.Thank you.

Places of interest is good But the room is too small for both of us. I saw the internet post the room is big. but end up is small. No boiler for boil water. No cup for drinking water.

Can access to Grand Batam mall, jz across the road from the hotel. Few locals eatery nearby. We jz tried a night stay, I won't recommended this hotel for long stay! ?? Trip on: 24-25 Dec. 2022 ??

The room dirty with loads of rubbish dusts under the twin beds ??‍♀️ Stenched towels! NO shampoo & bodywash in dispenser! NO bfast included. U have to go across the road, coffeeshop for breakfast! NO kettle, minibar & iron board. The reception unable to assist u for calling of taxi/cab. You MUST use your own Grab to ferry you from one place to another OR u hire van incl. driver, pay them in SIN $$ - BEST use ur own Grab apps, cheaper in Rp.??

location is superb.

facilities is no good- restaurant closed, no pool. booked a car from hotel receptionist but the next day say booking doesn’t exist.

the location, cleanliness and staff was awesome

the aircond (A/C) position was not strategic. it is not place in front of your bed. but it faced the toilet wall. It is hard to get clothes iron (i got after 1 day of request). Guest should bring their own travel iron to ease the usage.

Hotel seem to have been renovated not long ago with Good Friendly Staff. Location right across from Grand Batam Mall, watch MidNight Movie at the Mall and walk across the road back to Hotel beyond Midnight. Good Local Food around even after Midnight.

Our bedsheet, pillow case & comforter smell bad, not washed. Shampoo was empty. Room do not have Basic Kettle for Coffee, No Microwave.I strongly suggest for a simple poolside replacing the current unused Restaurant.

Breakfast was given as what we being paid to the hotel.

Room is quite small. But the toilet is huge.
