    Pros +

    • The location is excellent. The spa is beautiful and the views from everywhere we stayed were great. The Staff were all very friendly and the level of service exceptional. We loved every minute of it.
    • Dreamlike experience, the views from every corner of the hotel is breathtaking. The pool and spa was a magical experience (highlight of our stay)Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Staff were very friendly and attentive
    • Location, facilities (spa) and staff

    Cons -

    • The Rooms in the Heritage Building are a bit small, especially the bathrooms but nothing to complain about.
    • No outside seating in the evening for sundowners. No patio heating.
    • We booked the room with terrace and lake view in the older hotel (Herritage). Room is nice, but all the rooms with terrace are on the first floor which is kind of a bad decision because it affects the view. I would book the room with balcony instead if I knew this, as these rooms are on higher floors. The error is mine though, because you can find the images of the hotel and find this info, but my booking was on the night before and I didn't have time for a research.Breakfest choices are way below 5* hotels I went to, so I have to say that the breakfest was a bit of a dissapointment. The hotel is overpriced, but stil way better option than some other 5* hotels on lake Luzern when you measure what you get for what you paid.

Dear Bürgenstock Hotel Team,I am writing to express my disappointment following our recent stay at your hotel.Upon arrival, we requested to change our room from the third floor with a mountain view to a lake view room. We were informed this was possible, but only with an additional fee. However, the lake view room offered was on the first floor — which felt like a downgrade rather than an upgrade — so we declined, as paying extra for a lower floor made little sense.Another point of disappointment was being placed in the Heritage building. One of the key reasons we chose Bürgenstock was to experience the Contemporary design, which was prominently featured during our booking process.I also inquired about indoor Jacuzzis, as shown in the hotel's advertising, but was told that rooms do not actually offer this amenity, which was misleading. While the spa was truly excellent and lived up to expectations, navigating the rest of the hotel experience was less smooth. We followed the hotel app to locate breakfast, which directed us to Verbena, but upon arrival, we were told we were at the wrong restaurant. Thankfully, the staff there kindly accommodated us — and we appreciated their professionalism. However, the most disappointing part of our stay was discovering a cockroach on the nightstand in our room. I have a video of it, should you need documentation. For a hotel of this standard and price point, this was completely unacceptable.Switzerland was an incredible experience overall, but if Bürgenstock were not in such a stunning location, the hotel itself would not meet the standards of a true 5-star property. Based on this stay, I would not choose to return.I hope you will take this feedback seriously and consider improvements in both communication and quality control.Sincerely,

We came because of view, and view we had :).

The facilities were perfect especially the SPA it was my favorite experience. The landscape was beautiful and easy to walk around and see the beautiful nature.

Check out experience was not easy. I end up carrying the luggage myself since I waited for long time.Lots of flies in the lobby lounge which made the meal experience bad!

It was an exceptional experience The only down fall was that it had to end The staff were great and polite, very hospitable since the start The snacks at the room were awesome and the view from the terrace was spectacular the Spa was amazing out of this world We had so much fun After touring around Europe It was the perfect ending for our trip to relax and unwind The food was above and beyond We are coming back hopefully soon in the future and for more than 1 night Thank you so much

I would say it was a little outside of our budget But after we stayed I can understand why ?

Magnificent hotel with unforgettable views, delicious restaurants, and an amazing spa.

The room was very clean and the staff was spot-on, they did everything to let us enjoy our stay. The breakfast was exceptional, everything is gourmet food.Spa was incredible, including the infinity pool.

Although the food in the restaurants was awesome but it was pricey. Be prepared to spend 80 CHF per person.

Bürgenstock Hotel is truly a 5-star experience! From the stunning views to the luxurious amenities, everything about this hotel is simply amazing. The rooms are beautifully appointed, the service is impeccable, and the dining options are exquisite. The staff's attention to detail and warm hospitality make you feel like royalty. Whether you're looking for relaxation, adventure, or romance, Bürgenstock Hotel exceeds expectations in every way. We can't recommend it enough – it's a must-visit destination for anyone seeking an unforgettable getaway."

The view is amazing. And the spa was really nice. Felt like the hotel was too big to be personal. Lots of great staff but no real feelings that we were extra special guests. No one told us the mini bar was included, even when I called to ask they just referred me to a QR code on the tv.

    9YemisiPosted on: 3-14-2025

    It was clean and comfortable

For the price and standard of the hotel, the room was extremely small and basic. I do not believe a hotel of that standard should have such small and basic size rooms

    9ThiloPosted on: 3-9-2025

    Superb

If you are staying in the "Palace Hotel" part, the distance to the Spa is about a 5min walk, unfortunately through the lobby of the whole hotel.

the Spa is very good and the views are extraordinary, also the transportation to and from Lucern center is and excellent experience!

The food is overpriced for what it is, and almost every time you’re being tricked to spend even more for things that should be included or at least not too expensive like water or extra cheese and bacon and fries which makes a normal burger cost up to 70chf! super annoying

Wonderful place, fabulous food, views to die for. Great staff.

    Be prepared for the prices!

Obviously the spa is the main event and it is wow. The property is huge and clean, staff are very helpful. I stayed 2 nights but I got bored after 1 night. I really wanted to try some local Swiss cuisine but they had an Asian restaurant and steak house. This hotel is great for peace, relaxation, and fresh clean air.

The rain and grey sky, not anyone’s fault. Would be nice to come back on a clear day. Can I also recommend more daily activities such as Pilates, yoga, sound healing or stretching.

    10MohamedPosted on: 2-26-2025

    Everything

I asked for a table in the lobby cafe, which was 90% empty and was refused to be seated at one since they are “booked”, it was annoying as I have sat for an hour at the cigar lounge, and the tables at the lobby was never used during that hour. Strange approach to a guest who paid for two suites for two nights!
