- Located in the city centre, the hotel is standing in just a walking distance to the area for dinner and drinking. 6 minutes on foot from the railway station was just okay for me, of course there are many hotel options for travellers to Iwaki city, some of them are closer to the railway station. The hotel offers a welcome drink, served for yourself from a server machine, also self-served curry rice, only on weekdays until 9 p.m., and a public bathing room. I enjoyed bathing while nobody was there, which was refreshing.

- The size of the room. I knew it when I booked a room, but the typical layout of Japanese style of a hotel for business people was too tight for me.
- The smell of the room was difficult to deal with. The bed sheets looked old and dirty and the air con was hardly blowing any cool air so we had to keep the window open to air out the room. Because the window was open, the air flow was really loud which made it difficult to sleep. We also found an empty cigarette box under the bed when packing up our stuff.
