- Modern, clean, very helpful staff. Good location.
- Hotel very near the train station and good restaurants. The city of Iwaki itself is extremely spread out, and by bus it will take you 40 minutes from the hotel to get to the seaside. Standard Japanese business hotel room with a nice tub. Didn't need to use their public baths since the tub in the room sufficed. Breakfast was great, just disappointing they truly shut it down at 9 am. Clean, and friendly staff all the time at the reception. The 200 yen local sake from the vending machine at the reception was also an added bonus!

- 1 elevator for something like 8 floors of guests made waiting for it often a long wait. Also breakfast finishing at 9 am is very early for people on vacation. And the city is super spread out, making having a car be almost necessary, but then what's the point of staying so close to the train station.

The onsen was nice, if very small. Breakfast was good. Location is just 5-6 minutes walk away from the JR station.
Only one lift for the number of floors and rooms means you spend a lot of time waiting in the lift lobby.
